Definitely value for money. There are some parts in the toilet that need a little sprucing up but generally a wonderful place to stay.

Although the room was small for two people with luggage, it was nice to be able to come back to a clean room with a comfortable bed at the end of the day. This hotel is in a great location with easy access to multiple subway lines and many activities like the Nishiki Market and the Nijo Castle and Imperials Palace Gardens were within a 15-30min walking distance.

They charged 7 times more than their regular rate due to holidays in Kyoto. It was not what I expected for over $700 per night. It was more like a hostel. Very very disappointed Expedia would promote such blatant misuse of their platform.

It's quiet and has all the amenities one requires in the room. The Serta matteresses and pillow are good for a well deserved night's rest after all the walking. Staff and very friendly and helpful.

Location, enough elbow room, plenty of electic outlets.
