My friends and I spent one night at this cozy cabin as we wanted a home base near the mountains for a hike in the whites the next morning. The place was great! I'll cover our one disappointment first and then finish with all the positives. The cabin is situated in the middle of a small community of other small camps and cabins. I'd say within 100-200 ft of the cabin you have small A-frame style cabins in front, in back, and on one side of you. So if you're looking for a private place in the woods with no sight of neighbors, this spot won't give you that. But that's our only gripe as the place was perfect for what we were looking for. It was SUPER clean and while it has a camp feel, it looks like the owner has spent time updating it as some of the touches are really nice. The raised ranch style layout was nice with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the living room and kitchen upstairs. All four of us guys found all the beds, including the pullout sofa, to be really comfortable. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and there's a nice fire pit in the side yard that was awesome for what was a very brisk evening. We were only a 15-20 minute drive to the popular Moat Mountains and so many others in the area. Jacque was kind and quick to reply in the weeks leading up to our stay when I reached out with questions. We'd definitely stay here again!
