Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum one pet). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Modern condo in a small quaint historical boating/fishing town. Close to restaurants, shopping & marina. Quiet & comfortable. Nice small touch - black washcloth to remove makeup. Good instructions to access; might want to also add instructions to lock up. Easy come & go with the assigned parking spot. Walk-in shower was great option for my disabled husband.

Lovely getaway

This property is perfectly located with a short walk to the pier, sunrise, and restaurants. A short walk to catch a sunset as well. We highly recommend Steamers!

Great place, great location

We enjoyed our stay very much, especially the location! Easy walk to restaurants, bars and breakfast places. Very quaint little village. The condo was fully equipped and the perfect size. We had all the comforts of home!

Cozy and clean

Very comfortable and clean. Perfect for 2. Pool was clean and quiet. Definitely a one person kitchen but well stocked. Bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets. Bathroom is tiny but the washer unit works well for a vanity area. Lots of towels etc. would be nice to have an extra roll of tp. After all it is pricey. The office staff is very friendly and ready to assist with any needs. The grocery store on island has most of what you may want but changes prices frequently so don’t count on the price label! Steamers was our preferred restaurant. Excellent service and good food. We were here Tuesday and Wednesday so town was quiet. Some restaurants closed.

Great location and pet friendly

Great place for a couple with a dog. Walking distance to the quaint downtown and the dock. Very cosy condo, king size bed was a plus. The kitchen is tiny but has microwave, newer electric stove (very clean) and mini dishwasher. We chose to enjoy meals out and explore the downtown restaurants. So grateful that the condos allow dogs and thankfully their owners picked up after their pets, found it super clean while walking our dog. Most restaurants that had outdoor seating allowed dogs too. The ceramic tile floors could use a good cleaning, I like to go bare foot and they were dirty. Oh well, wash the toes in the shower and put on socks or flip flops no worries, it is vacation after all. Breakfast- Annie’s and 2nd St Cafe Coffee- 1842 Grind Lunch- Tony’s - order the clam chowder! Sites- Cedar Key Historical Museum, hike the Trestle trail, Shell Mounds and even if you don’t need groceries, visit the local store, sunset walks at the end of 1st street

We enjoyed everything but the rain & no one has control over that. We really had a great stay.

The only thing I thought was strange was the charges on the card that way, & usually the security doesn’t actually get charged since you have the card, so anyway that was all.

Perfect location.

Perfect location for all the fun stuff. Enjoyed the view from the deck. Only complaint was the dirty silverware. Would gladly stay again. Also, we have rented many places where it takes forever to figure out the TV access. Not here. Follow the simple directions provided and Bingo we have TV. Everything was so easy, from parking, check in and there is even information on what restaurants are where and what there is to do in the area. Look forward to a return stay.

Fabulous location and amenities

The location was perfect! Walkable to everything. The kids loved the heated saltwater pool. We had a couple issues with the auto lock and toilet but it was promptly addressed and fixed. The management was very responsive and so kind. I highly recommend!

Nice Place

The property is on the waterfront, close to the sand. It is tastefully decorated with an island theme. Within walking distance of everything in town (most things within 3 blocks). Everything worked and was well cared for. The only troubles we had were lack of familiarity with the washing machine detergent (we had no idea what a "pod" is and had to track someone down to ask). Also, the floor was not spic and span - I had to vacuum and mop it in order to go bare footed - but there is a vacuum cleaner and a mop in the house. I would rent from the company again.
