Main issues - cleanliness dirty appliances greasy surfaces + dead flies had to clean before using. Both fridges/freezers uncleaned 1leaking water constantly mopping floor, didn’t use got fed up of cleaning other people’s dirty. Pet hairs on sofa, surfaces and beds/bedding + dead bugs. No bed linen/pillows, cushions instead, very dusty + dead bugs stuck on them. Was asked if we brought our own bedding on arrival then provided with bed linen and towels that we did not use because of their state. As the shops were closed by the time we arrived at the property we had to clean and hoover the bedroom and went to bed with no linen. Two of the bedrooms separated by screens so not proper bedrooms. The only shower and hand washing basin is in the ensuite of the main bedroom. The only toilet is outside main bedroom, does not have a hand washing basin. Very strong nasty odour in the toilet. The spiral stairs are very difficult to negotiate in general and was a nightmare to get our luggage upstairs and are unsteady. The swimming pool is situated at the front of the owners side of the house, and was informed politely that because of the time of the year we might not wish to use it on arrival. Shocked on departure she asked if we left the property cleaned. The owner was informed about the overall cleanliness, bedding, and the dirty leaking fridges so there should be no excuse for others to go the same experience as us in hope that these are basic standard hygiene expectations.

Propriété très agréable, le lieux apaisant. Très bon accueil de Sandrine et Cyril, les propriétaires avec qui nous avons partagé la piscine, ils ont été à la fois discrets mais toujours présents si nécessaire. Une chouette expérience, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Verblijf in huis Cauneille

Wij hebben voor dit huis gekozen omdat er is geadverteerd met een privé zwembad. Echter, bij aankomst vroeg de eigenaresse van Welke 2 dagen wij gebruik wilden maken,wij verbouwereerd, uiteraard wilden wij hier de 7 dagen gebruik van maken die wij geboekt hebben! Claudine heeft volgens haar eigen zeggen een hoge uitzondering gemaakt, uiteindelijk mochten wij er de 7 dagen gebruik van maken. Echter ,ook maar tm 18u ..niet prettig met een kind van 8 en een temperatuur van zo'n 40 graden.. verder is er geen privé bij bij dat zwembad aangezien Claudine,haar man en kind ook bij het zwembad zitten. Verder is het huis redelijk schoon,maar gezellig buiten zitten is er ook niet bij, voor het huisje is er een betonnen plek met een tafeltje met 4 stoelen, over de bbq nog maar niet gesproken.. in het huisje is er 1 slappkamer met airco, de rest v d kamers hebben dit niet.kortom; wij bevelen dit huis voor een relax vakantie niet aan. De eigenaresse zal ongetwijfeld reageren met het feit dat dit allemaal is aangegeven maar dit is absoluut niet waar, wij hebben screenshots van de originele reservering en de daarbijhorende foto's.
