また泊まりたい

一回泊まったことがある宿泊先であったが、室内やドアをリニューアルされたようで、とてもきれいでぐっすり眠ることができた。朝食も申し分なく、リラックスしていただくことができた。1階がバーなので、次回訪問時に時間があったらビールでも1杯いただこうと思う。周辺には何もないが、移動途中の宿泊には最高。また泊まりたい。

Great accommodation over pub

Really comfortable room over a pub (currently closed due to C-19). Absolutely lovely full English breakfast cooked to perfection by the owner Paul. The pub is currently being refurbished but everything was in order in the double room I was in. Some road noise during the day (I was working nights locally and sleeping during the day) but the road was deserted on a night so won’t be a problem for “normal” people sleeping during the night.

a fantastic night in this hotel fantastic staff and the room was fine clean and warm hot water was perfict and a lovley shower the bar was lovley and all staff super helpfull kept the bar open had no problem with taking drinks up to the room, only thing was the front flood lights were bright in the window till switch off but thats not a knock on the place will defo be going back and for a stop over its perfict thanks agan

Overnight stay

Made very welcome by the staff. Accommodation very clean and pleasant and was adequate for our needs. Access up external stairs would be difficult for anyone with mobility difficulties. Left after a superb breakfast. Plenty of very good food.

It is a little gem right next to rugby ground, please dont judge the book by its cover, whilst outside is due sone tlc you could not fault the inside and welcome. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and recently been redecorated. The breakfast was continental, you can upgrade to full English, tbh the selection was excellent fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt cereal toast assorted juices tea and coffee what more ciuld yiu ask for. Thank you

Nice stay but lacks a dinner option

Be aware that their is no evening menu available. It requires a trip into town to find an eatery.

Excellent room. Very good breakfast and service. Very good value for money. It's a little bit out of the town and on a fairly busy road but we were not disturbed by it at night. However it is right opposite Castleford Tigers rugby ground so you might want to check there isn't a home match! That being said, we will certainly return when next we need accommodation in that area.

This property is simply fantastic the rooms alough small contain everything you need without feeling cramped only complaint was it was a little stuffy due to lack of being able to reach the window
