"The property was very clean and nice in appearance the hotel front desk staff very nice efficient and helpful the hotel is right at the BLUE RIDGE SENIC RAIL ROAD literally a stroll down the side walk how ever the restaurant staff located on the 5th floor terrible service we were a party of 5 we enterd but were not greeted not even acknowledged we wonderd thru the small area looking for a table there were dirty tables but no one acknowledged us or offerd to clean the tables..wewent to the bar where all the staff clustered on the opposite end avoiding eye contact and all contact after 10 plus min a man did offer a menu but we decided to leave we werent welcome we weren't wanted there so we left and took our black dollars with us ( the restaurant staff was our only negative experience) i definitely suggest this hotel but not the resturant if your a person of color"

"Cozy and comfortable cabin only negative was that the shower was not that hot but it was comfortable enough. "

"The house is exactly as described. Cozy and close to town. It is private, but not secluded. We were hoping for seclusion. On one side, you have a neighbor, and on the other a business yard. You are divided by a privacy fence, so not bad. Just not secluded. The house is CLEAN and the hot tub with the movie sceeen was awesome!"

"Cabin was very clean and abundantly supplied. The deck was what drew me to renting this cabin and it did not disappoint. The deck had rocking chairs, a swing, hottub and right over it, a very nice large creek….. it was wonderful!!! I will definitely be back "

Off the beaten path a bit like we wanted and so very peaceful. All the little details in the cabin were a nice touch, and it had many essentials in case you forgot anything.
