「Beautiful historic manor house that was tastefully decorated. Excellent value for money comfortable stay. Friendly staff. It's a privilege to have access to this beautiful historic home. 「Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. 「A beautiful house on the river with amazing views. Bakery right next door and a wonderful restaurant just up the street. It was nice finding the "everything you need" also just up the street and discovering they also make wine! Not a complaint, but know there are a lot of stairs so not a good choice for mobility challenged. I would certainly stay again!!!」

「This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...

「Au début on était pas certain de l’emplacement car est sur une petite rue dans le village, mais finalement c’était parfait. On a profiter de la piscine, croisière fluviale Duoro a 30 minutes, vignobles et même Porto a 1:30, alors ce fait très bien aller retour. 」

「A casa tem condições excelentes, é muito bonita e está muito bem conservada. Eramos um grupo de 15 pessoas e passamos um fim-de-semana excelente muito bem passado sem necessidade de sair de casa. "Poor value for money There are way better places in Douro Valley at a lower price point. Even after being open more than a year it feels like it still has teething problems. Staff is not trained properly. Very slow service; music playing outside our room from the pool at night; sloppy turndown service (they left the ironing board in the room despite promising to take it away); they put our bags in the wrong room; cigarette burns in the patio furniture; one analogue key instead of digital means one person is always without a key (and by the way, the door doesn’t automatically lock when closed so you have to manually lock your door at night). On the plus side, the view is stunning; the pool wonderful; the restaurant is excellent and the rooms are very clean and comfortable "
