Perfect place to stay
Nice quiet basement apartment that has a great location a 10 minute amble to the center of town. There is a well appointed kitchen so you can cook in if you like, but the place is steps away from a store and several very good places to eat

Exceptional
Excellent property for two people. Lovely location above cliffs, easy walk into town and down to beach, local shop and nice restaurants. Special mention for Maria who was a truly excellent host. She keeps an immaculate and very well and thoughtfully kitted out property - down to the spare adaptors should you have forgotten to bring your own. She lives adjacent, but was very discreet. Quite exceptional!

La casa está en una magnífica situación, sin lujos pero con todas las necesidades perfectamente cubiertas. La casa está perfectamente limpia y es muy práctica y bonita. Pero lo que la hace absolutamente diferente y especial es su dueña, María José, una persona increíble, agradable, simpática y realmente encantadora, la mejor anfitriona que cualquiera podríamos imaginar o desear. No es que se ocupe o preocupe de lo que le puedas pedir o consultar, es que se adelanta y hace un montón de cosas que hacen tus vacaciones realmente especiales. Could not have been better. We had everything we needed and a wonderful host. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable and Maria was always there to help with anything needed and always cheerful.. We hope to go back again.

Comfortable and relaxing get away spot
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in July. Property was clean and felt spacious, the property stayed surprisingly cool, but the air con was great to have when needed. The apartment is equipped with everything you need from tupperware, to beach towels, to all kitchen appliances and to good wifi. The property is in a great location to get around the Algarve and has 2 beaches within walking distance (under 15 minutes). The center of Carvoeiro has plenty of restaurants, which is a 10-15 minute walk or if you do not fancy going into the center, there is a complex less than 5 minutes away which has a few restaurants, bars and a Spar. In regards to the hosts, Maria was very responsive and friendly. There was another lady who greeted us and gave us the tour (we thought she was Maria's mother, but not sure), she was very friendly and helpful, she even came to wave us off. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely see ourselves staying again.

Wonderful stay in Carvoeiro
Mathis apartment is perfect for 2 people and well located, short walk to beach and center of town. It is immaculate inside and out. Kitchen is very well stocked and a steady supply of clean towels. Our host Maria, is wonderful.

Charming stay in amazing location
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the end of September. Maria greeted us with her huge smile and showed us around the property. She lives in the top half and the rental is on the ground level with a delightful courtyard for dining and lounging. There is space for a small car to park in front. The property has a terrific view of the ocean from the courtyard and it's within walking distance of the main beach and town with many shops and restaurants. Even a small grocery store about a block away. The house, although simply furnished, has everything you'll need and was extremely clean. We cooked many meals there. Maria was a delight and even though she doesn't speak much English, we were able to communicate with lots of gestures. It was sunny and in the 80's every day, but cooled off at night with no need for the air conditioner. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. We did as many locals do and hung our laundry on the drying rack outside. There was only 1 roll of TP and paper towels. Everything else like plastic wrap, napkins, condiments, clothes detergent, toiletries, etc. will need to be purchased at the store. We loved our time spent there and hope to return one day. Lovely, well equipped apartment, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location. Very quiet but with perfect access to town centre with the added bonus of sea views. Only negative for us was the hard bed.
