"We love visiting Mountaineer - This is our third time. We love the food at Mahogany but were disappointed in the plastic silverware. We tried to eat at the Steakhouse and they were out of everything we attempted to order. It does appear that it has went downhill since our last visit. However, the front desk was amazing. The spa was great! The beds are super comfy! Overall it was a great trip. "

"First, if you have trouble with the air/heat unit, check how it is set. Our unit was cycling off and back on after 20 seconds . . . switching it from heat to air conditioning stopped that (crazy weather!) No problems with the unit itself, just with the settings. This was a fine for the price place to spend the night. The hotel could use some updates, and had an odd smell, but it was quiet and obvious that the employees were doing their best to keep it clean. The breakfast was basic but included eggs, waffles, coffee, juice, cereal, apples, and some other breadstuffs."
