The Coyster is the perfect place to come for a night or a month! This unit is 1 of 7 in the Lodge and has been totally remodeled, comfortable beds, clean, everything is new, large screened TV. Come for a visit and stay a while. Good location, room to bring your boat! This room comes with two queen beds, Microwave, Coffee Pot and mini Refrigerator for convenience. Cable TV and Wifi, close to Carrabelle Boat Ramp and Downtown. Just 5 minutes to Carrabelle Beach. Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, cycling paths across the road, guided boat tours at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket.Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 15 minutes away. Located a little over an hour's drive from Tallahassee, and only twenty five minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola, this retreat can be tailored to your own adventurous spirit.

Very clean and comfy! We only stayed one night and it was perfect!. The only issue we had was the text with info to check in did not have the name of the unit. Took us a bit to figure out which one.

Good place to rest your head
This was a quaint little place that was perfect for what we needed it for! Me and my husband and our two little girls played at the beach all day and needed a place to sleep and shower. This was perfect. Easy to get in and out of, clean and comfortable. Would stay again. The queen beds were not the most comfortable but it was fine for one night.

There was moldy bread left in the cabinet along with other food and trash. There was also trash left in the dresser drawer. Other than that the place is great. I have stayed here before and loved it.

Comfy place and convenient
We needed a place to stay and I was lucky to find this little place which had the accommodations we needed. (The Coyster) We weren’t there but for one night but everything was clean and comfortable.

Buyer Beware-Inaccurate post/pictures
We did NOT stay at this property even though we paid for a week stay. It was not as described in the VRBO ad. It was unsafe, the “deck/patio” was littered with old shoes, garbage barrels, empty propane tanks, hoses and extension cords, half used package of water bottles and on and on. The string lights in the so-called patio area only half worked. There was no access to the patio unless you walked around the building through construction debris. The front of the building is parking off of a dirt road so there was no sitting area there either. The room was clean but it felt like we were in a cell block. We attempted to immediately resolve issues with the owner AND VRBO to no avail! I will never use VRBO again!

Our stay at Carabelle
Quaint, quiet, peaceful. Just enough for 2 people to relax and escape the madness of life but close enough to activity if you want it. St. George’s Island was great and about 20 minutes away.
