"A Summer Place" was a 1959 classic movie starring Sandra Dee and Troy Donahue, and it was also the inspiration for this custom designed and professionally decorated showplace. This brand new custom-built luxury beach home was completed in 2025, and the stunning three-story property offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and upscale comfort, designed by award-winning builders featured in Coastal Living and Southern Living magazines. With over 2,300 square feet of professionally designed interior space, this home comfortably sleeps 9 guests across four spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

You'll enter the home on the lower level where you'll find a small office space for those who just cannot be out of touch. One level up is the main living area along with the kids bedroom that house a Pyramid bunk. Upstairs you can unwind in the 3 additional bedrooms, 2 with Queen beds and 1 with a King and an on suite bathroom.

From the moment you arrive, you'll be captivated by the natural light, soaring ceilings, and open-concept floor plan. Relax by the fireplace on the porch, enjoy ocean breezes under the palms, or cook fresh seafood from nearby Blackburn Brothers Seafood Market, located just 3 miles away. Everything you need for a memorable beach vacation is thoughtfully provided. A Summer Place is ideally located in the heart of Carolina Beach, just steps from the ocean, parks, and lake, with fireworks lighting up the sky every Thursday night during summer. Challenge your friends and family to a few holes of miniature golf on the front yard putting green, or simply enjoy the seating by the fire pit. The whole family will find plenty of things to enjoy when they visit "A Summer Place".

Make sure that you do not miss the spectacular sunrises, famous donuts at Britt's, Thursday night fireworks on the beach and quality time with your family making lifelong memories. The North Carolina Aquarium and the Fort Fisher historical site are great day time activities for everyone to enjoy. Catch a ferry ride over to Southport for the day for some great local dining options or spend the day hiking in the maritime forest of Carolina Beach State Park. Venus fly traps and native pitcher plants can be spotted in the park seasonally and make a truly memorable experience. Stay Requirements: Flexible arrivals year-round with a minimum of 2-night stays.
Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 2 Queen, 1 Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full).
Parking: 2 cars in the garage and 2 more in the driveway.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed.
Prohibited: Pets, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Boat Trailers, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
