Communication with the property owner was great, she was very responsive. When we walked in there was a musty smell. The queen bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and my guest and I slept poorly all 3 nights we were there. We kept sinking to the middle of the bed. I personally moved to the couch in the living room the third night because my back was so sore and I couldn’t sleep (we are two healthy, fit individuals with no back issues). The temperature in that room fluctuated which added to its uncomfortableness. The bathroom attached to the room was small, outdated and the I felt like I was going to fall through the shower floor due to the lack of support I felt under my feet. I only used that shower one time and when we arrived there was a used wash cloth on top of the shower. The bathroom in the hallway was updated and much nicer and the three of us used that bathroom primarily. On many occasions we noticed ants crawling on the ground and walls. The furniture on the deck was in poor shape. One of the rocking chairs had a piece that would fall out constantly and the chair cushions had a tough time providing comfortable support. Lastly, there was construction happening in the unit above us all trip which took away from our peace and quiet. Overall the unit was in a good location, nice view of the water and the walk to the beach was short. It needs more updating, replacement of old items and the queen bed needs to go.
