Thank you for your review, I have double checked both your bookings and cant see any charges for breakfast on the room itself however the first booking you made was a room only booking, the second stay was including breakfast. If you would like to show us the charges and confirm which stay this was for we would be more than happy to look into this directly with you.

Overbooking hotel rooms is a common practice that is designed to protect the business (as is also seen in restaurants and on airlines, for example), however I can see this would have been incredibly frustrating for yourself and I apologize for this. We have issued a refund to Expedia for your booking with us, and I'm glad our staff were able to find you another room at a nearby hotel. I do apologize though if you were not contacted in advance as this is part of our policy.
