「Absolutely wonderful stay in the Wellington countryside. Perfectly located for winelands touring. Outstanding staff and facilities. On site, multi-course dinners were absolutely brilliant and worthy of a Michelin star. Bravo to the chef, kitchen and wait staff. We cannot wait to return!」

「Stayed here 2/19/24 through 2/21. Location and property are absolutely beautiful, but unwalkable from downtown Franschhoek, so you'll need a rental car or us their recommended taxi service via Whatsapp if you plan to drink lots of wine. Uber was not reliable in this area. The staff were very nice and the breakfast options were good, but limited. I would highly recommend this location. 」

「An absolute find in this beautiful part of the Karoo. The atmosphere and style is that of a traditional Game Lodge. The food is excellent with a team to match. There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. 「We stayed here for one night en route to the wine area. Great place to break our journey after driving from Prince Albert, via Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves. Enjoyed a drink on terrace watching sunset over the mountains, before having a lovely meal, cooked and served by the owners. Breakfast on terrace was fresh and tasty too」

「No provision made with water supply when power went out due to loadshedding. You could not use the bathroom at all. NO extra drinking water in the room. Breakfast at restaurant was also not great. Sorry, not a good overall experience at all. It is situated in a beautiful area. 」

We had asked if we could bring breakfast back to the room for another guest who wanted to sleep in a little bit and they said we couldnt because they were concerned that the food would sustain the sheets. Very strange response to be honest. Especially since they have a dining table and chairs in the room. Also there wasn't much variety for breakfast or many options for dinner 」

「Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the...

「Close to everything you need.」

「個人で滞在するのも、グループで滞在するのもロケーションは便利。ただ、夜の外出は7時を過ぎたあたりで人は歩かなくなるので、要注意。タクシーかレンタカーで外出しかない。入口には２４時間体制でガードマンがいるので安全。 中のスタッフは土日は休みの為、質問があっても週明けまで返答はない。レンタルサイクルはあるが、いわゆるビーチクルーザーなので、遠出向きではない。かごもないので、買い物は自前で運びやすい鞄を用意したほうが良い。町までは約１キ。ロ程度なので、散歩しながら行くのも気持ちいい」
