Cabin was a great place to stay and very clean and comfortable Had a great outlook and was set amongst a great tropical setting The pool was a great way to relax and cool down at the end of the day

Cute, clean and sustainable accommodation located a short drive from Cape Tribulation. Close to beach and walks as well as cafes and restaurants. Friendly staff and the Turtle cafe do an amazing and reasonably priced breakfast.

Tranquil gem in rainforest

Beautifully decorated tourist villa, very clean, private set in the rainforest. Highly recommend.

We loved the staff, they were super lovely, flexible, and had lots of local info. the king safari rooms were nice, clean and renovated; place is next to the direct beach access and the on-site Turtle Rock Cafe had yummy fresh food. Stay here!

We are an off grid resort supplying our own power and doing what we can to provide our services in an environmentally friendly way. This means we must be aware of our energy usage and the appliances we supply in the rooms, as well as a whole host of other things. We do state the available in room and onsite facilities, such as communal kitchen and fridges, in our description so we are sorry to have disappointed in that regards. Love the new ensuite cabins

The king ensuite cabin added that little bit of luxury whilst still being in a camping community setting - so happy we stayed there, and actually wish we’d stayed another night!

Beautiful place, loved everything about it. Just one thing was the ensuite showers. Hardly any pressure at all and not that we needed it with the heat and humidity but the water didn’t get warm while showering.

lovely king bed, clean and comfortable. No A/C but the ceiling fan kept us cool enough. The cafe onsite was great too - esp. the Iced Coffee

Relaxing holiday in paradise

The campsite was empty over Christmas, so we had all the facilities to ourselves, as well as the magnificent beach. The hut was very comfortable and more luxurious than expected. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the summer thunderstorms pass over. The camp kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms are clean and the pool is a lovely spot to cool down. Very short walk through the rainforest to the beach, which is mostly deserted and great for long evening walks. For entertainment at night, we went to PK's across the road for some dinner and drinks. A very relaxing holiday!

Fantastic, relaxed and surrounded by nature. Clean and calm with sufficient shared facilities. There’s great food nearby too - Whet Restaurant & bar in particular. Great staff, amazing snorkeling and ridiculous nature everywhere.

Super comfortable glamping! Only thing different from a fine hotel is that we had to go to the shared toilet facilities. Nice little restaurant with good food on site. Recommend making a reservation if you want to eat at Whet restaurant which has excellent food and is walking distance. Very helpful lady at front desk who recommended the boardwalk for best chance of seeing cassowary birds and watching the sunrise on the beach (both walking distance). We were lucky and saw two cassowaries during our morning walk on the boardwalk.

Only had fan for cooling was ok for time of year, only three showers in bathroom facilities provided at least in womens bathrooms probably not enough given customers from the snorkelling tour invited to use them afterwards. Was a clean and neat facility however staff friendly and helpful great service

Lovely huts in the jungle but it would have been good to know that you can’t drink tab water and no recharging of electric items possible in the hut due to no sockets. But a good jungle experience, a bit expensive though.

Fantastic stay at small scale resort

Amazing stay at Safari lodge. Right in middle of the beautiful rainforest. Super friendly and helpful staff. 10 min walk to the beach. Cabin is very nicely integrated into surroundings. General kitchen and showers are perfect, clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Surrounded by the rainforrest!

If you’ve come to Daintree to explore the rainforest, this is the place to be. A stomes throw away from one of the boardwalk rainforest walks, and short driving distance to several others you are in the middle of it. The room had no AC, but a fan which sufficed. The toilets/showers in the common areas, a short walk from the “room”/house/hut were clean and in reasonable shape. This was truely a great accommodation.

Good option if not wanting to backpacker it

The Safari Lodge was clean and well located. Air conditioning would have been a good addition however with the fan it was ok.

The perfect jungle getaway

Safari Lodge was perfect - simple but clean and everything we needed. This is not luxury accommodation but it was just right for a relaxing getaway in the rainforest. The cabins are private and have good ventilation to let in the tropical breeze. The bed was very comfy. Shared bathrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water. We self-catered one night, and ate locally the other two nights - can highly recommend Whet just up the road for a delicious dinner. The perfect place to unwind, disconnect (no phone reception) and chill out.

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura durante la nostra vacanza in Australia. La posizione è molto comoda, per le escursioni nei dintorni di Cape Tribulation. La nostra cabina era molto bella ma aimè davvero molto piccola (difatti non sapevamo dove appoggiare le cose), però abbiamo apprezzato molto il parcheggio privato, l’area barbecue e la piscina. Nel caso non si voglia fare la spesa e cucinare, ci sono comunque due locali a pochi passi dalla struttura dove è possibile pranzare, cenare e fare colazione. Il personale è gentile, disponibile e, se tornassimo indietro sceglieremmo sicuramente questa sistemazione, quindi non possiamo far altro che consigliarla.

The cabin was just like the photos, very clean, comfortable and in such a lovely location. The staff were very friendly and acxomodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Great room, friendly staff, sadly kitchen area is a little bit of a let down. Needs a little updated.

Clean and simple

A nice, minimalistic, but private room. Communal bathrooms and kitchen factilites were very well maintained. Only issue is it's a bit of a distance from the room to the bathroom, especially if needing it in the middle of the night.

The real rainforest experience

Real rainforest experience due to great location. Cabins were really cute. Just what you needed and showers and toilets were really clean.
