We had a lovely stay. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Our loft room, though a bit difficult to get up and down the staircase (definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues), was cosy and clean. The breakfast was great and swimming pool also very refreshing in the heat commonly experienced in Franschoek. Very centrally located in town, so it was also a convenient location with easy parking

We had a lovely stay at the Mont d'Or - Johannes was a wonderful host! The property was really homely and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Its a short walk to town, restaurants or the wine tram and we'd definitely stay again :)

Such a great hotel , staff are lovely and friendly. Great location in Franschhoek , 2 minute walk to the Main Street. Breakfast was delicious. Nothing too much trouble for the staff . Awesome stay

We had a great stay at Mont d'Or! The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. It was the perfect short walk from the wine tram and town. We would recommend this stay to family and friends for sure!

Wonderful guesthouse

Beautiful little guesthouse in a prime location just off the Main Street in Franschhoek. Wonderful stay made to feel at home from the moment I arrived, very enjoyable breakfasts with plenty of choice. Some of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time

Poor value for money - overpriced. Very basic rooms, no reception, mold smell in the bathroom. Breakfast ok. If you can, choose another place to stay.
