Welcome to the Sandcastle Inn – now under our management! A perfect destination for comfort, convenience, and affordability in beautiful Cannon Beach. Centrally located between downtown and midtown, and just one block from the beach, the Sandcastle Inn will soon become your favorite beach getaway.

Sandcastle #601 is a ground level, 1-bedroom apartment with everything you'll need for a 2-person retreat from city life. The comfortably appointed living room will soon have you catching up on your reading or getting back to writing in your journal or watching the new flatscreen smart TV while preparing a meal in the kitchen. Open the doors to the patio deck and let in that fresh coastal air!

Need some quiet time? The separate queen bedroom offers you a chance to close the door and curl up in the bay window reading nook for some alone time. You'll also enjoy the soaking options of the bathtub/shower after a long walk on the beautiful sandy beach. And the full kitchen is small, but well-stocked, so you always have the option of eating in or dining out.

Leave the car and hit the street – you're right between downtown's galleries, shops and restaurants and midtown's excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Or you can cross the road and head to the beach, just a short stroll over the sands to Haystack Rock.

With everything you need close to hand, Sandcastle #601 is the easy and comfortable way to slip away to the coast for a well-deserved and well-earned break. And you're welcome to bring your best friend - the Sandcastle Inn is dog friendly!

Exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely home away from home had all we needed, walking distance to beach and shops but just outside the busiest areas. Bedroom and spacious kitchen had windows that opened for sea breeze. Definitely recommend.

Relaxing retreat

This property was perfect for what we needed. We had one day before we head to another beach and we just needed to be within walking distance of town. It was a perfect walk to the restaurant and shops. It was super clean. The bed was comfortable and had everything needed.

Very pleased with the cleanliness, pleasant smelling, comfortable, inviting suite. The electronic door lock code was very convenient to use. I heard some traffic noise during the daytime, but all was quiet at night.

OOOH that smell

Overall just what was expected, close to the beach, above average accommodations, however the odious scent hit our olfactory as soon as we entered and had to fumigate our nostrils with ocean air often.

Nice place and good location

Great clean place. Great location to all within walking distance to most sights. Not sure, why no shampoo in shower. We had to go to store to purchase shampoo. Love the doggie basket as soon as you walk in from main door. Blinds are in need of maintenance. Bedroom window should have a curtain too. The outside lights come through the sides of blinds. But over all great place to stay.

Great place

Property was great and super close to the beach. Literally exit the door, turn left, and cross the street. 6-10 min walk to lots of food, galleries, etc. Would stay here again.

On the main drag

Sandcastle Inn is on Hemlock St, between the two business districts of Cannon Beach. It’s one block from the beach, and maybe 1/4 mile from Haystack Rock. A great location. The management team made the whole process easy. We knew what to do, how to enter the property, how to leave it when we were done, and how to contact management about any needs. Nothin got in the way of our having a great, great stay.

Internet was sketchy at best. That needs to be improved. We could’ve used a few more glasses and other silverware items. Other than that it was everything it was said to be. Communication was fantastic.
