The hotel is in Biot, which is one stop from Antibes (old town). It’s located close next to Aqua park and Antibes theme park but there are very few restaurants around and we did feel very isolated and had little choice but to get the train to Antibes old town every evening.
The beach opposite is a stone beach so we also got the train to Juan Les Pins (2 stops).
During check in they were unhelpful and wouldnt even entertain the idea of allowing us to check in a moment before 3pm…. Even if our room was ready.
It’s a shame they didn’t put in as much effort inside as they did on the outside, as when I arrived I did think it looked lovely.
The pool is very small, it could have been a lot bigger given the size of the hotel - it was probably as small as a baby pool at a larger hotel. It was fine for the odd pool day, but by no means could you sit around it every day. The food inside the hotel was not good. The drink prices are ridiculous- €5 for a small water, €7 for a Coke Zero, and the food was not enjoyable. We quickly realised that after our lunch on the first day.
The rooms are very basic and we did book a family room but I’m pretty sure it was just a standard sized disabled room and therefore cramped for a family of our size (2 adults, 2 children and a toddler). But overall it was ok i just don’t think I’d stay there in the future.
Very friendly staff who all spoke English which was a big relief! Large car park in the front of the hotel & we had lovely room with sea view. Very clean & amazing fish & chips in the restaurant freshly cooked. Only there one night for early flight back from Nice Wish we could have stayed longer & will go back.
Overall a good modern hotel. Room was clean, good size, comfortable bed, warm shower, pool was small but sufficient, breakfast was basic and could do with improvement. Most staff were nice but not all. The guy on the pool was great and friendly. Overall a good stay. I would stay again.
The hotel was ok in general. The breakfast was pretty bad. Everyday the same food, very little choice, no fruits at all. Often the food was stale.
Similarly the food in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was not up to par. For the same price you could eat a much higher quality lunch / dinner in the restaurants in the vicinity.
The pool is rather small, suitable only for children. Due to its size it tended to get very
Very laid back and friendly hotel. Staff were very responsive. Good sized rooms but not much of a view from our ground floor room but that didn't bother us as we knew that we would be out most of the time when we booked it. Parking was easy and felt safe. Biot train station a few minutes walk away, from which is was a couple of minutes in the train. One day we walked to Antibes along the shoreline which was a lovely way to arrive into the port. We stopped to see the Fort Carre, which was on route. An Uber taxi back from Antibes was 11 euros and there were plenty of taxis around.
Pebble beach in front of the hotel was accesible by walking or there was free car parking along the sea front.
Great hotel next door to marineland , i have stayed there three times in all
The breakfast is a nice continental and thats where it ends, they have recently made improvements to tbe restaurant so i thought i would try an evening meal there
My daughter had a margarita pizza which came completely smothered in oily heese and undercooked dough
I had the beef steak burger and was asked how i would like it, medium i replied, looking forward to it, less than 5 minutes later it arrived looking like a cheap frozen burger
Ao once again hotel is pretty faultless on the accommodation side, just dont eat there
Stayed 2 nights in Nov 2023

Disliked: Room comfort
Just an ok hotel
The hotel was an OK hotel. Breakfast was simple but plentiful.
Our air conditioning didn't work, and the room was a double bed with 2 trundle beds. The pool while available with varying depths, was overrun by small children, but nonetheless was a welcome cool down after a long day. Be aware that it does close by 8pm and food and drink are not permitted poolside. Highlight is that it's walking distance to the calmest, coolest pebble beach. It's an amazing beach.
Overall unless you are visiting the Marineland venue, this hotel is not worth the price, especially in high season.
I was pleasantly impressed with the room size, cleanliness and view. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here when visiting Antibes again.
The staff are amazing and accommodating. I was worried that with the closure of Marineland it would have changed or would be less friendly to families but SoBlue remains a great place for families to stay.
Spacious room, very clean with, large bay windows to see the sea or the pool...the inside or outside hotel is very cleaned and very colourful. Everything from the reception, bar, restaurant, pool and cleaning staff...everyone were super professional and very efficient. This sobluehotel antibes has a very large parking so no problem to park your car. The hotel is near the railway but it doesn't disturb your stay...and the hotel is only 250 m from the beach and sea...This hotel is great.
Very nice hotel with spacious nice rooms. The problem; the restaurant. The staff is absolutely not trained, dancing challenge during the dinner ( at 7:00pm) with a very loud music….
The Hotel was nice in the middle of Nice, Menton and Cannes and 2 blocks from the metro. We got 3 days passes for $45 for 2 people. I was a great stay. Highly recommended.
