Just an all around lovely establishment. The owner is beyond welcoming, the hotel itself is in superb condition. Bed comfy, room pristine. Very walkable and just far enough outside of town to be quieter. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Tired room

I arrived around 7pm having booked online. The owner was unaware of my booking. The room was tired- carpet hand fitted around the wash hand basin, which was in the bedroom and not in the shower room. A tiny shower and w.c with a sliding door.Old fashioned wardrobe and a tiny tv. Everything was very, very clean. The breakfast was excellent as was the service. I was just unlucky that evening with the room selected for me I was on my own and the room would have been very small for two people. £100 per night.

A gem

We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor throughout was beautiful and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent accommodation

Excellent service from when we arrived until when we left the following morning. COVID regulations were in place and. Followed Breakfast was excellent with a good choice well cooked and most importantly served on hot plates. Hope to go back again when plans allow

Wonderful Place

My partner and I stayed here for a night and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Service was excellent too. Staff were able to accommodate our dietary requirements without any issues. The room was quite cold. There were two radiators, one wasn’t too warm at full, and the other wasn’t working. Other than that, our stay was perfect. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay. Lovely hotel and friendly owners. Felt very COVID safe. The breakfast was delicious - best breakfast we have in a hotel for a long time. The only downside was that the bathroom was very small and the sink was in the room and external to the bathroom. Would highly recommend.

Short stay

The hotel is nicely presented with a pretty front garden. Our room faced the side and was quite quiet. The breakfast was very good.
