"Our stay was lovely! The other cabin was closer than expected but still felt private and cozy. The creek was close and easy to get to. Our pup had a blast in the water. The cabin had everything we needed."

Stay in a Real Log Cabin! - Private Creekside Cozy Creek Cabin with Hot Tub/Wifi
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing cabin in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what I was looking for. I brought my son up to tour Appalachian State and we wanted a place we could bring our dogs and just get away from the chaos of our busy schedules. This cabin was absolutely amazing. It had comfortable beds, a large wraparound porch with rocking chairs, a hot tub right outside the master bedroom, updated amenities, and a ripping creek right by the property. My dogs were able to play in the water dry off on the porch and just run around and explore nature. The host was super friendly and available. We had a little snag when we got there as the power went out about five minutes after we had walked in the door. We did have to drive down to get signal, but she immediately answered the phone and called the power company and contacted us right back and they had power on within 30 minutes. I could not recommend this place more and we will definitely be back."
"We loved it. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Our grandkids loved playing on the big deck and we enjoyed dinner outside. We definitely would highly recommend it and would stay here again if we are in the area"

"Thank you, Peter for an amazing experience on a beautiful piece of God's glory! I brought my wife and daughter to Timber Ridge for a 4 day birthday / anniversary combo. The whole experience was spectacular! Smooth everything. Excellent communication with the host, Peter. He is kind, prompt, and super accommodating - a terrific host. The views are stunning with amazing layered mountain vistas not only from the awesome wrap-around deck, but also visible inside from the main floor living area, kitchen, dining area, second floor landing, and the "widow's peak"(my daughter's favorite). Morning views are glorious, and we enjoyed stargazing from the deck each night... breathtaking around the clock. The house/cabin is gorgeous, inside and out and was practically spotless. All of the beds were clean, fresh, and super comfortable with seemingly new mattresses and pillows throughout. Even the pullout couch on the main floor was comfortable. The hot tub was great! Clean and hot with different massaging jet arrangements for each seat, we used it daily. We didn't play much, but the pool table and fooseball table downstairs are nice, professional grade equipment. Check-in and check-out were easy peasy. The gravel road up to the property is clear and wide enough for two cars to pass. The only negative thing I can say about our trip here is that it was too short. We loved it and did not want to leave. Definitely will be booking with Peter again."

"Great pet friendly option. Camper was clean. Definitely pack some little soaps, snacks, etc so you're not driving into Boone too often. Being truly offline was nice and my dog enjoyed the creek!"
