Very convenient location, lovely home & nice Owners live upstairs. Corner lot with plenty of street parking. We enjoyed our stay, will definitely re-book again!

The property was not very clean. However the worst part is that the basement suite is not secure. We had someone from the upstairs rental come down into our suite. The basement did not feel safe to stay in. The host only has a sign that asks upstairs travellers to not go into the basement.

The stay was okay for our short night there, but not the most comfortable. The dining table was missing - there were just 6 dining chairs pushed together, which was odd. There was one towel in the bathroom, but we found the rest in the dryer, along with socks and such. Some of the towels and chairs were stained. However, the beds were comfortable, the place was easy to find, and the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe.

Our host was very communicative prior and upon arrival. They even had provided an alternative location set up as their original placement was not treated well by previous guests, so he had to tend to that.

Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised The overall experience was disappointing. The property was a basement unit, but this was not clearly specified in the listing header, which was misleading when booking. The living room was not properly cleaned, with trash found inside the couch and underneath it. The washroom amenities were also unsatisfactory, as used bar soap was provided instead of fresh soap. Additionally, the checkout time was 10:00 AM, earlier than the usual 11:00 AM checkout offered at many other accommodations, which was inconvenient. The host was also unresponsive when we needed assistance, making the stay even more frustrating. Overall, the cleanliness, communication, and lack of clear information about the property did not meet expectations. I would recommend that the host clearly disclose that the accommodation is a basement unit, ensure thorough cleaning before guests arrive, provide fresh bathroom amenities, respond promptly to guest requests, and consider a more reasonable checkout time.

This is a basement suite and the upper floor is a different posting. When we got to the place we were very disturbed because it was so obvious that there were a lot of people partying. It was very disturbing when a guest upstairs opened the door to the basement and asked us to drink with them. We really did not feel safe because they were able to access the door so easily. We were hearing people stomping their feet and yelling from 10pm at night until 4am in the morning. The place itself was really good but i would definitely check with the host if the upper floor is being rented out so you can make sure you’ll have a great experience and no disturbing actions from upstairs renters

Comfortable Stay

The facility was very comfortable and well furnished with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The goat was communicative and always responded to our questions quickly.

It was okay, the place overall was clean and had what you needed. On the other hand I wish I would have read the reviews before booking, I didn’t realize a whole family lived above. The kids were extremely loud and stayed up until midnight or later. So if you want a quiet peaceful retreat this isn’t the place.

The accomodation was great, neat, and plenty of space for 3 adults. Met the owners once before moving in, spoke to them through emails, they were courteous and accomodating.Recommendations: 1. There was no iron/ironing board so had to borrow an iron from the owner.2. Since this was a basement apt the owner lived above,. it was difficult to sleep in late as you could hear all the activity from above,when the owner or their child was walking around or talking, you can not her the actual conversation just the noise of the voices.3. The master bedroom with the king size bed needs to have a mirror. I had to use the mirror in the hall or the bathroom at all times. 4. The internet was very spotty so difficukt to watch TV

Very unclean overall; bedsheets, furniture, dishes, shower etc… was visibly dirty. No bathroom tissue or paper towel anywhere available in the house. Very loud arguing, stomping, and children yelling coming from the residence above.
