Comfortable and close to downtown, we booked two rooms and we were not able to get them anywhere close to each other, they were on different floors at opposite ends of the building. The pool is well used (swimming school) but small and cold, in a dimly lit room. Beds were clean and comfortable.

For the budget- conscious traveller that I am, I did not go wrong. It’s old and room fixtures need upgrade; however our room was clean . Hotel is easily accessible. Staff were friendly. The lack of amenities did not bother me. A 10 minute drive to downtown. Parking is a plus as downtown parking would cost about $30 per day.

The GOOD: bed was comfy and clean, affordable price. The BAD: wifi didn’t reach our room, the c-train was right outside our room (it shook the room and was noisy), there were 5 homeless people sleeping in the parking lot in the morning, the chair was covered in stains (we laid a towel over it before sitting on it), there was a dried candy on the counter by the tv. * I won’t return.
