  • Let me preface these discoveries by saying that I ended up in Calella haphazardly. It is not necessarily a town that I would generally recommend. It is not your traditional Spanish/Catalan dream destination. It very much looks like something the 70's spit out and no one ever bothered to clean up. With that said, I freaking love this little freakish town, which I quickly & affectionately nicknamed "The Twilight Zone." The strangest occurrences happened throughout the month, yes MONTH, I lived in Calella. Apparently since the 70's, Calella, was a booming tourist destination for Western Europeans and the British. It has been on a massive decline over the past decade. What's left behind though are some fun Dutch and English/Irish pubs, a small welcoming expat community, and one of the most incredible beaches you will ever lay your eyes on. Beautiful clean white sand for miles and crystal clear turquoise water. Parties & bars on the beach, some free concerts in the summer time and of course drinking it allowed as well. If you happen to find yourself here, you must stop in at Beach Boys Club, tell the owners, Brian & Cathy, that Amber sent you. Then hit up Brian for his secret stash of American imported Budweiser (Did you know the bottled stuff is always produced in country? Brian believes the secrets in the water, so he gets the cans from the US. Brian is British, which makes this little story even better.) Also, be prepared to eat a lot of rotisserie chicken.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans l’appartement de Francesc et tout était parfait !La communication avant est impeccable. L’accueil est très agréable avec des petites attentions. L’appartement est très propre, bien entretenu, bien équipé et proche de tout. L’option parking est également un plus. Je recommande à 200% cette location.

Super Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war hervorragend. Er hat immer sehr schnell mit WhatsApp geantwortet. Auch einige coronabedingte Probleme konnten schnell gelöst werden. So konnten wir 10 wundervolle Tage in Katalonien verbringen. Diese Ferienwohnung können wir sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank Francesc.

Wir haben noch nie so eine saubere Wohnung gesehen . Übergang und Service 1A. Alles war da für den Start . Hier fehlte an nichts in der Wohnung . Von Küchenrolle bis Kaugummis war alles da . Danke für den Service .

Great apartment with good beds

With 6 persons we had a great time in this apartment. The basics and more are available in the apartment like extra clean sheets and enough towels for showers. And when it isn’t enough, there is a new was machine. Fransesc has an adequate response time on the app by questions and gives you the necessary information on your questions. The beach is 300 meter and the supermarket is about 150 meter. Calella self has a plenty of different shops and restaurants and the train station is about 10-15 minutes walking through the main street with all the nice shops. Enjoy your time at Fransesc place!!

Trotz Verspätungen aufgrund des Fluges verlief die Wohnungsübergabe hervorragend. Vermieter war ständig erreichbar über Whats App. Wohnung war wie beschrieben. Trotz etwas geringen Englischkenntnissen des Vermieters lief die Verständigung reibungslos. Preis und Leistung gehen für die Lage der Wohnung absolut in Ordnung.

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage, einmaliger Ausblick

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung! Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Sauber und ordentlich. Fantastischer Ausblick vom riesigen Balkon. In wenigen Gehminuten ist man am Meer oder im Zentrum. Auch der Busbahnhof ist nicht weit, manchmal kann man jedoch die Busse hören. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wir waren mit Kind und Baby dort und es gab gar kein Problem. Bettchen und Hochstuhl wurden von dem sehr netten Vermieter zur Verfügung gestellt. Lift für den Kinderwagen vorhandenen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
