"Second time staying there, this time was super popular because of a game next door. Only issue was 1 of the 3 elevators were down but other than that great place to stay, conveniently located, affordable, and always a cab outside! Starbucks, groceries steps away!"

"Excellent location - an easy walk to the Hamilton art gallery and a concert venue (First Ontario,). Indoor parking is secure for $20. Very quiet room was appreciated. Full kitchen in room a handy possibility as was the immaculate laundry room downstairs. Breakfast buffet ,with many simple choices was dandy. Super nice staff! "

"Bit of misunderstanding on the listing type - the title says 'Cozy Room' but the listing on Expedia said full property. There was a camera in the living room which tracked me as I moved around the space, so I felt a little uncomfortable with that and spent the rest of my time in the room. Bed was squeaky, no soap or shampoo in the shower. There were lots of personal items around, which made the stay awkward, because I wasn't sure what was meant for communal use, and what belonged to owner. At the price, I would just as sooner spend a little more and go to a place that was fully my own. "

"If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not your place!!! We booked 2 rooms at this hotel for 11 night due to a death in the family. While we were there a few hockey teams checked in (ages 10-16). They constantly ran up and down the hallways screaming. The parents were drinking and talking very loud in the hallways. We talked to the front desk and they moved us promising no hockey teams or family’s were on the 5th or 6th floor. We were moved to the 6th floor and hockey family’s were all around us. The next night it was so bad the cops were called (not by us). They had security walking the halls, but the running and yelling continued. We talked to the staff the following day and they told us a lot of damage was done that night as we noticed frames ripped off the walls of the elevator. We also received a letter under our door telling us they were turning the water off from 11am to 4pm. Forcing us to leave the hotel as we couldn’t even use the bathroom. This was not an enjoyable experience. I would expect this from a lower end hotel. We spent the extra money booking at the sandman as we were dealing with the loss to our family and expecting a more respectful establishment/crowd. As I said if I knew our stay would have been like that, I would have saved some money and booked at a lower end hotel. "

"This hotel is shabby! Door cards didn't work, front desk had to come and open the door every time we wanted in. The curtains were frayed from the sun. Control for tub and shower didn't work. Furniture was in sad shape. This hotel has seen better days!"
