Fantastic location!

We very much enjoyed our 3-week stay at this apartment in Foz do Arelho! The location was fantastic, with gorgeous views of the sunset. Several restaurants are within walking distance, with grocery stores a short drive into town. The kitchen had what we needed to be able to do some cooking for ourselves from time to time. Amply sized refrigerator/freezer, a full stove top and oven, and a clothes washer were in the apartment. There was plenty of room to store our clothing as well. Kate was a very responsive host. Alison worked with us for a next-day arrival (delay getting into Portugal). The drive from the airport was not bad at all (first-time visitors). We would definitely recommend this apartment for your stay in Foz do Arelho!

Resting after walking the Camino Portuguese

The view of the Atlantic Ocean and the lagoon is exactly as pictured. The first days the views were excellent; day 2 was foggy which gave another perspective. We chose this rental based on location and views. The apartment was adequate and as described. The kitchen was adequately equipped although basic supplies were lacking. For example, there was a washing machine that we used but needed to buy washer soap. We were not able to get the oven working. There was a coffee pot but no coffee to get us started. Other rentals that we have stayed at in the past (England, Scotland, France, US) have had small amounts of supplies to get the travelers started. There are cafes and restaurants close by to access within easy walking distance. Easy check out and good communication prior to arrival.

Excelente apartamento, bem situado, perto da praia, excelentes condições de habitabilidade, tudo muito airoso e limpinho! Local muito sossegado e tranquilo, cozinha equipada, sala de estar com excelentes condições, quartos muito bons, ideal para passar umas férias em família! Excellent position overlooking the beach

We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Perfectly situated with great views from the balcony, it had everything we needed and was close to lovely restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect in every aspect

The apartment was perfect, it’s view and position, in relation to the beach was perfect. Just the right amount of walking distance to the beach and the bars. Foz itself was beautiful. The restaurants where excellent and the sunsets where breathtaking. The only downside was from the apartment below, they had two dogs, which were left out in the heat all day. Always barking at any passers by. As dog lovers this was distressing to witness. However, this would not stop us from returning, Foz is without doubt the most magical place we’ve stayed in

Great location close to the beach

The apartment is in a small block on the hillside at the end of Foz. The beach is just a few minutes away down the hill. There is parking immediately outside the apartments. The apartment has a spectacular view across the bay from the balcony which is accessible from both the lounge and bedroom. The apartment was clean and tidy, although the towels and bath mats could do with replacing. There is a great shower, which does leak a little but it was easy to mop up afterwards. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The apartment is homely if a little cluttered. We found this to be a good base to visit local attractions and spent a day on the excellent beach in Foz, although we were driven inland on several days to find the sun, due to the fog and low cloud which sometimes persisted all day! Alison, who looks after the apartment was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

wonderful situaded, the view is fantastic

Kommunikation was very good, the accomodation is nice, it is all there, what you need , even an umbrella for the beach and a wall against the windorry for my english.We enyoid the stay and want to come back.

Excellent!

Excellent apartment. We spent there few days in July-August 2016. The apartment is very comfortable, with full equipment. Bed room for children includes very funny bed with 3 floors- it is big fun for children! The apartment has big balcony with amazing view on the bay with lagoones! We love this view!!! The apartment is located in very quite area, close to the beach 5 min, and close to the point view, which was excellent to observe stars after sunset😊 . I hope we will come back here someday... 5 minute walk to wonderful beach!

A comfortable clean apartment overlooking a glorious beach. Hand over was speedy and told us all we needed to now. Local amenities we good and you didn't have to venture further out although the surrounding area and beaches are also magnificent. We had a relaxing week thankyou.

Great location, beautiful view of Foz beach.

Alison greeted us upon arrival and gave great advice on the towns and beaches within an hour's drive. The beaches we particularly liked were Baleal, Sao Martinho do Porto and Nazare, The historic towns of Obidos, Tamar and Alcobaca are also well worth visiting. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Foz do Arelho beach, a great central location for visiting the many attractions of the Silver Coast. The 2 bedroom apartment was very well maintained and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. A balcony with a fantastic view of Foz beach can be accessed via the main bedroom and living room.
