We found spiders in the room, requested to have a different room and they gave us a can of bug spray. We had dinner at the restaurant and they didn’t everything from the menu, so we had to order what they had. The prices are high for a 2-3 star restaurant, and they took 15 minutes to charge us after we asked for the bill because they had to wait for one person to come and use the card reader. The place is nice but for the price is overrated

Beautiful room/bungalow. Big room. Good shower pressure. Comfortable bed. Terrace. Surrounded by trees/jungle. Fan and windows with musquito nets worked good for a comfortable temp.management. Only "complaint": you hear the trucks from the mainroad due to work at the 'tren Maya' railway. Not to far away.

Petite déception
À notre arrivée, on pensait de relaxer à la piscine... après une route d'accès digne de celle, et encore, qui vous mènera à Calakmul Cependant cette dernière n'est visiblement pas trop entretenue, l'eau trouble n'était pas engageante. Le WiFi n'est disponible qu'à la réception et au restaurant, quand le réseau est disponible😉 L'eau de la douche à peine tiède, l'intérieur et l'extérieur mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement. Petit plus, un kit à disposition pour se préparer un petit café pour un départ matinal en direction de Calakmul 😊

Perfect spot
Wonderful spot especailly to visit calakmul, if you have a car. No tv or wifi in room is great to relax with each other. A few bugs but it is the jungle. Only issue was hotels internet that didnt show i prepaid. Had reciepts so they took photo of reciept, that was it, no problem. Friendly staff, wish i could have stayed longer to partake more. Sound of nature was fantastic, sounds of distant trucks downshifting not so much but was rare and from the maya train construction which should be down in a year or so. Entrance driveway needs a layer of gravel for potholes.

Buena opción para hospedarse en la zona. Las recámaras son tranquilas y las camas cómodas. Además, el hotel está rodeado de un lindo jardín y tiene servicio de desayuno y cena. El precio, sin embargo, nos pareció algo elevado considerando la ubicación y que hubo unos detalles (no funcionaba el wifi y el sanitario no tenía tapa).

Es una pena que estando semiaislada la propiedad no incluya el desayuno, se pierde mucho tiempo cuando en realidad se hospeda uno allí para acceder prronto a losatractivos de la zona.El ibetrnet completamente fallido, aparentemente por torres dañadas por tormentas pero se encontraba sin reparaci´´on. la entrada al resort estaba uy dañada con falta de mantenimiento. La limpieza muy buena, y el servicio eficiente. Las cabañas cómodas y funcionaes, ellugar es realmente hermoso.

Todo bien, solo que los colchones estan super duros, todo esta bien pero no se descansa en esas camas son demasiado duras, la comida la atencion el servicio del personal excelente pero para las hora que se necesitan para descansar terminas levantando con dolor de espalda de tan incomodos colchones

A bit old, but well maintained, very clean. The road there is very bad, luckily it is not far. Eco village is misleading name. Quiet during the night. Restaurant on site but almost no options for vegetarians and expensive! Breakfast is not included and expensive for a family. You have to go to Xpujil and that is a 15 min drive. There are tvs on the wall that don’t work. No problem but remove those. Two very old bedside lamps (a bit molded), only 1 worked. Bathroom is old. Very good location to explore Calakmul. The swimming pool was closed, the receptionist promised us that it would be open the next day, but off course it wasn’t and she wasn’t there the next day. Very disappointing that you would promise this, knowing that it would not be true. It felt as she wanted to get rid of us. Our sons were disappointed especially because there is nothing to do for kids in the ‘village’.

Nice & Clean, pool closed
I have stayed here three times. The Ecovillage has aways has been a great option for the Xpuhil area. Unfortunately, this time was a bit different. 1. The pool is closed indefinitely. It would have been courteous to let guests know this in advance. 2. We had no A/C in our room, while we always had A/C in the past. 3. We had no bottled water in our room, while this had always been the case in the past. Other than those three things all went well. The rooms were clean and the water hot. Staff was friendly. In the future I will call the hotel directly to make sure my rooms has A/C and the pool is open.

Es el mejor hotel de Calakmul muy recomendable tiene restaurante, agua caliente y buenas habitaciones. En la propiedad se puede apreciar diferente fauna. El personal muy amable tiene wifi en restaurante y en recepción. Tomar en cuenta que es una reserva y no es de esperarse que en todos lados haya buena recepción de internet. Es un hotel muy bonito todo funcionaba bien.

Llegamos al hotel a las 950pm ya que había mucho tráfico por la construcción del Tren Maya y estuvimos a punto que nos cancelaran nuestras reservaciones Quisimos avisarles que llegaríamos tarde pero no pudimos contactarlos al teléfono que nos dio Hotels.com Tienen que tener un servicio de guardia para las llegadas tardes Saludos

Belle hébergement en plein milieu de la nature. Nous avons même pu croiser des singes dans les arbres mais un peu loin de la ville . néanmoins, il était parfait comme nuit d’étape par rapport à nos excursions.

Personnels peu aimables personne a l accueil en arrivant à 16hoo qu il faut chercher dans les différentes zones de l hôtel restaurant piscine… après 20 minutes quelqu un arrive qui ne dit rien remise de clef sans explication arrivée dans la chambre il n y avait pas de télécommande pour la climatisation donc on retourne à l accueil et là on nous dit que c est 20 euros en plus si on l a veut . Petit déjeuner cher si ce n est pas inclus dans la chambre Belle piscine très chlorée Et l hôtel se trouve à 40 kms du site de calakmul…. L ensemble est vraiment très moyen

Komt niet overeen met de “plaatjes”. Oud en verwaarloosd op veel punten. Onvriendelijk, niet behulpzaam personeel. Twee kamers heel ver van elkaar terwijl bijna alle gasten slechts 1 dag blijven.dus was plannings gewijd best wel te realiseren dat kamers dicht bij elkaar lagen. Bed heel hard. Wel een goede douche en prachtige ligging.

Cool place
Very nice chilled hotel. Comfortable, with a good swimming pool for a bit of relaxing after visiting the archaeological sites around. Good base for the area.

Er waren veel vogels te spotten op het domein van het hotel en een goede uitvalsbasis voor de tempels van Chicanna, Becan en Xpijl. We waren zelfs bijna helemaal op deze onterecht 'vergete' archeologische sites. Vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant. Mooie sterrenhemel in de avond. De kamers zelf en de faciliteiten waren erg verouderd en vergane glorie. De oprijweg richting het hotel zit vol gaten en de houten trap en balkon van onze kamer was helemaal verrot en we moesten opletten om er niet door te zakken. Er is geen airconditioning, enkel een oude plafondventilator maar je krijgt de kamer niet afgekoeld (het was 40C). Het zwembad was niet goed onderhouden en het water was vies dus niemand van de gasten was geneigd om dit te gebruiken. De snelweg ligt dichtbij maar er is relatief weinig verkeer. Het hotel is OK als je op doorreis bent maar niet om te lang te verblijven.

Je n'ai que du positif à dire de cet établissement : confort, propreté, excellente cuisine. Et j'ajoute que le site est entouré par la forêt tropicale où abondent les oiseaux, dont le superbe momoto. Plus encore : le superbe site maya de Chicana se trouve à 10 minutes de marche!

Couldn't check in until 3 but were offered the pool and restaurant while we waited. The service in the restaurant was iffy; lunch was good and quick; dinner we had to wait quite awhile to place an order for anything; the waiter only had one other table so couldn't figure that out; never checked to see if we wanted more to drink or eat. Be sure if you want A/C to ask for it - not all rooms have it. Wifi is spotty at best. The hotel was SPOTLESS!

Located off the highway with great birds all around in the early morning. Beds were quite hard but it was a pleasant stay. There is a restaurant with good food and it’s located near Mayan Ruins for day trips

Entre los árboles
Muy bonito lugar, rodeado de naturaleza, lo que permite tener la oportunidad de ver la fauna local en su habitad. Despertar por la mañana y oír el canto de muchas aves, fue empezar el día con el pie derecho.
