Not a great start. Had to wait 50 mins at airport for pickup then when we arrived after 10pm we were informed our panoramic view room wasn’t available until the next day. Instead, they placed us in a small windowless box room. To compound matters, next morning I discovered they lied about the reason. My room was not unavailable because of electrical problems as stated, instead it was double booked. They refused to refund me the difference and instead offered me a free cheap kebab for lunch. On the positive front, the breakfast staff were amazing, as was breakfast - food and views. Once in the panoramic view room - it was absolutely worth the wait. Views were amazing as was the location. Although the property doesn’t have a licensed bar, there are a few a couple mins away.

Very nice hotel with nice view! The outside street is little dirty, but the inside the hotel is fine. The service is great, and the breakfast is amazing.

Amazing location, Really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a great place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. The hotel has a great location with a great view of the Pyramids. Most of the staff is really friendly, the girl in the lobby was super friendly and nice, best staff. The staff in the morning restaurant are also much nicer than the ones in the afternoon. The breakfast included was great and really abundant. You don’t need anything else. The only recommendations would be to put curtains in the shower so the water doesn’t spill all over. In general I would really recommend first times to stay in this hotel as it’s close, safe and in an exclusive area with extraordinary views of the pyramids.

The location is fantastic! I will never forget sitting on the roof terrace watching the sun go down over the pyramids. Unforgettable memories. The staff are honestly amazing! Extremely friendly, very open and interesting to talk to. We felt so looked after and spoiled whilst we were staying here. Will be recommending everyone to go!

Everything was perfect the view and the stuff and facilities we spent beautiful time when we saw the sound and light show for free without tickets from the roof top and the second day we made a tour with the with good prices to pyramids of Giza and Memphis and sakkara for sure we will come again to Egypt

Rocky start but ended well

I was skeptical about the hotel due to reviews about the half board on the advert and the hotel didn’t honour it. I definitely wasn’t happy about this but resolved it with hotel.com. Having said that the staff did try to make things better, Amr and Meera were very kind and helpful. The room view was the best ! It was great to watch the light shows from the rooftop and balcony. The breakfast was also good and the staff at breakfast were very helpful.

The hotel was amazing, from the beautiful view at room 305 to the excellent staff (front desk, dining/kitchen and auxiliary staff). Mira and Yuri was great in accommodating to anything I needed. my issues only was that the WIFI is spotty outside the hotel, even the balcony. The shower bit small. No elevator/lift. Other then those minor details, the stay was great. Also, if you need a ride around the Cairo/Giza or anywhere contact Soloiman at 201222949811.

Wrong room but amazing view

Overall it was a good stay. The view was out of this world and priceless. I was though given the wrong room and not the room I booked . I told the receptionist and she told me that the room I booked was undergoing painting maintenance. Therefore when I told then that they gave me a new room similar to the one I booked. Not the same one but close enough. The staff were very helpful. The hotel need a little pick-me-up and also the doors are not numbered or labelled so easy to get lost. But I would definitely go again as I loved the view and the service.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Shadow Pyramids View INN has the best views of the pyramids and the rooftop Tree Lounge allows you to eat and watch for FREE the laser light.! Staff members speak English, Spanish and Arabic. Furthermore, if you need to plan activities during your stay Ali or Shahd can easily help you find the right tours for you! If you need assistance Shadow's support staff (Fraq, Amr, &Edmit) can help with anything you need! The staff is gracious and accommodating, they can resolve any issues or problems you might have. The rooms are clean and my room a view of the pyramids, which was awesome waking up to that view. I highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely stay here again!! I stayed during Ramanda and the Tree Lounge served delicious Egyptian food with lively music and excellent hookah is available!!!

The great pyramids and sphinx provide everything you need and are very affordable. The staff are extremely accommodating and cater to all your needs. The Manager Mr. Kamel is very kind and Professional towards his Guest, He wants to make his Guest gets the best and is more like a good friend and all his staff. About The place is very clean and new building, the Rooms are all a good size with great pyramids views right at the doorsteps, the food & drink was very good excellent. It is a highly recommended experience. I would recommend to any Foreigners from all over the world to come here and explore the true Cairo views of Pyramids at from the room balcony step and most importantly the environment and the location is very safe to walk around the great pyramids and sphinx. The whole pyramids area surroundings Protected by Egyptian Army and policemen around the clock 24/7 to make it safe for the tourist and foreigners. Amazing stay and My Special Thanks to Mr. Kamel and his team. Grateful place, grateful work, I am coming back again. I am posting this Review also on my Instagram.

The view from this property is unbeatable, watching the light show from the rooftop or from the balcony of the sphinx suite was amazing! Staff were friendly though they do push you to book trips/activities through them especially on your first day which can be tiring after a long travel. The room was clean but had things broken/unfinished: toilet paper holder missing the bar to hold it, post of the ceiling in the bathroom was missing, shower sprays part the glass half wall so the floor got wet often and the curtains weren’t the length of the glass wall so you had to be careful dressing/undressing. We loved the jacuzzi tub but was sad we couldn’t see the view as the neighboring rooms could see into your room when curtains open. At meal times workers were so kind! We were disappointed though that often meals or drinks we saw on the menu were not available, many things we wanted to try but couldn’t as they never had it during our stay.

Staff were amazing. From check-in to check-out, they make sure you have an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was a feast. Shoutout to Shiko (breakfast) and Zaghluol (dinner). They’re really great at their jobs and make sure your dining experience is great. The only thing I’d keep an eye out for is that Apple Maps has a different Shadow Pyramids View Inn and Google Maps has it as Shadow Pyramids Palace so it could be confusing. It’s on a very busy street, but it’s right across the street from the pyramids. The rooftop view of the pyramids and the sphinx are incredible.

1. Booked the Suite room but got given a smaller less expensive room. Paid extra for no reason. 2. The door key doesn't work, always have to wait outside the door for 5 minutes. 3. Smelled when i arrived all over the hallways. 4. They promised me my room the next day but didn't give it to me. Really wanted what i booked a month before but they gave it to someone else even tho i booked it a month before.
