Overview: At first glance, the house appeared beautiful; however, it did not match the description provided in the listing. Although it was advertised as a "Luxe" property, the reality was far from luxurious. Bathroom Issues:One of the bathrooms was closed and not functioning. Additionally, another bathroom had a sink that leaked. For half of our stay, there was no hot water in half of the bathrooms, which significantly impacted our stay. Heating Problems:There was no heat in half of the house, making the evenings particularly uncomfortable as temperatures dropped to around 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Workers arrived late in the evenings attempting to fix the issue, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Instead, we were provided with portable electric heaters.Maintenance and Appearance Concerns: Paint was peeling along the wall in the staircase, and the blinds in the dining room were non-functioning. The washing machine in the kitchen was also non-operational, seemingly placed there for appearance rather than use.Living Room and Supplies: The coffee tables in the living room had burn marks from cigarettes. There were no basic cleaning supplies such as a broom or mop, which we eventually purchased ourselves and left in the house. Additionally, there were no towels provided in the bathrooms.Safety Issues: The staircase was unsafe, lacking adequate handrails. The last set of stairs had no handrails. This lead to a devastating fall.
