"Secure parking at rear of property. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. The extractor in the bathroom was either not working or not efficient enough to clear the steam from the room. Also if you want me to use the excellent towels for a second day, a heated towel rail needed , or any towel rail to hang the bath towel after first use. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The cottage has everything needed a home away from home. The bed and bedding are extremely comfortable. If you want peace and quiet with amazing views this cosy getaway is perfect. Our hosts were excellent, very knowledgeable and accommodating. Parking is on site too. The garden is fenced off which meant my puppy could explore outside without escaping. Would recommend without hesitation. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. Woodpecker Cottage was very cute and cosy. Hosts Zena & Leigh were very attentive and even provided some basic food items which included some non dairy items for me and fresh eggs from their hens. They were very helpful and gave us information on great hiking locations. They also provide lots of documentation at the cottage with suggestions of things to do and sites to visit. The area was very pastoral and provided easy access to many hiking spots (local and up to 1hr away). "
