「Really lovely apartments and pool in a great location. Would not hesitate to recommend」

「We originally booked a studio, but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well maintained. The interior is a little dated in places, but everything was clean and tidy, so this didn’t bother us at all. The beds and bedding were excellent, and the bathroom was great with a good shower. The kitchen is quite basic, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Breakfast is small-scale but well presented, with everything you need. We also enjoyed relaxing...

「The property was as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred not to pay a cash deposit though for the wifi router- as you do not get this back until you leave. As I am UK the 20 Euro at end not so useful. The surrounds pool and location is wonderful. Such easy access to the beach via walk or train. The beach is breathtaking along with view of the Ria Formasa. I will return. The local staff friendly. I was made to feel welcome.」

「After an issue checking in where our booking was lost Jose placed us in a fab Junior Suite with kitchenette, sofa and bed. All hyper clean with great view of the beach and harbour entrance. Breakfast was the best with great choice from cooked to fruit & yoghurt to pastries. Always love coming to stay and never let's us down. Always recommend Vilamoura and especially the Ampalius.」

「The apartment was clean overall and spacious, and the balconies were great with views of the golf course. Although I did not use it, the pool looked a good size and was popular with other guests. Plenty of free parking. Helpful staff the only slight negative is that there were ants in the apartment - which the hotel provided a ant spray. 」
