"Nicely presented hotel. The room had everything needed but a basic feel to it. Close to the tram line so it was easy to get to the city centre. Breakfast on the 17th floor was lovely- great views."

"Clean, modern hotel with fabulous staff. Although the hotel is not in central Amsterdam, the tram line is a short walk away. Since you're on the end of the line, there's no confusion about which line to take, and you're always guaranteed a seat at the start of the journey. Tram line takes you right into the centre in about 20 minutes, from where you can explore on foot. First-class staff. Throughout our stay, every single member of staff we dealt with was friendly, courteous and professional - really impressed."

"I booked this hotel for our 2 weeks stay in Amsterdam. It is centrally located, but I would not stay here nor recommend the place. #1 - The ponly plus point I can say it is centrally located and walking distance to Amsterdam Central Station. #2 - The Hotel is so dated and not well maintained. ...the lobby, the elevator, the carpet. #3- The amenities are very basic... we stayed for 15 days, and only provided us toiletries once or twice. I have my own toiletries, but something like facial tissue, shower cap etc, I have to ask the front desk. I never been to a hotel that you have to ask for toiletries. #4 - Our room was spacious enough, but do not have place to put our clothes. #5 - THe room has telephone unit tBUT no dialtone , which we found it really funny. #6 - We feel like we were walking in a dark alley and afraid to get 'mugged' walking from the elevator to our room. The hallways are really dark, and carpet, like what I mentioned before are very old. Overall , we regret booking this place for our long stay in Amsterdam. Do not believe the pictures posted online. Better in picture but not in person."

"We needed a location that was close to Amsterdam central train station and this hotel exceeded that. It was literally a walk across the bridge to the station. The morning breakfast was fresh prepared multiple choices, and delicious."

"Had a very rude employee try to refuse to bring one extra pillow (we only had one each person to start) even after explaining I have medical problems & need to sleep sitting up. He was extremely rude & after finally agreeing to bring one up, he condescendingly brought up 3. I asked for ONE, I still can’t believe the way he treated us. He tried saying if every customer wanted TEN extra pillows they wouldn’t have any, again I asked for ONE MORE! There also are no phones in the rooms to call for anything at all, we were on the 13th floor so had to go down anytime we needed toilet paper or tissues or anything. It was very hot & there is no AC & windows do not open."

"Hotel is nice but the service in the Atrium restaurant was very slow and inattentive. Second year in a row it’s been like this so clearly institutional rather than reflecting on individual staff."

"Very, very tiny hotel. I stayed in a triple room with my parents, and it was so small we could barely move around haha. Also, although they had lockers, only a few were available, so I had to rent two lockers for three small bags, which cost 20 euros."
