Mama Bear’s Den- Pet Friendly

Mama Bear's Den is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This cottage offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit. If you need more space, please check out our other listing, Baby Bear's Playhouse.

Mama Bear's Den is a small cottage ideal for two adults, or a couple traveling with one or two children, or two couples. This is a 600 square foot house with a combined kitchenette and seating area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. This house has a large deck with a table for outdoor dining. You can take the short trail to the enclosed picnic area where you will find a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating ideal for toasting marshmallows and roasting hot dogs. There is a charcoal BBQ. The picnic area is a shared space with our other guests and is perfect place to make new friends.

You have access to the whole house and your porch privately for your use. There is a common shared space that includes a fire pit and barbecue area.

If you need more room as in beds, we have a conjoining property called Baby Bear’s playhouse that’s available to rent as well.
This home is a non-smoking space. pets are welcome with a pet cleaning fee applied.

Pleasant stay in Burns

Nice pet friendly places are hard to come by in Burns. This places is nice, clean, convenient and place you can grab a little rest whereever your travels take you.

Perfect and Cozy

The perfect property for my 2 week stay in Payson. Cozy with all the amenities needed. It was very quiet and the supermarket right across the street was very convenient. Highly recommend!

Nice room with great location

Mama bears Den is great place to stay in Burns. The room was clean and comfortable with a great location. We appreciated the coffee and snacks left in the room. We will definitely stay here next year when we come through Burns.

Quick Stay

This was a great place for a quick over night stay for my family. We were in town for High School Graduation. I liked it better than a hotel since we had a bit more room for our kids. I would stay here again.

I stayed one night with my two dogs on a road trip. The property is clean and very pet friendly. Safeway is right across the street which I consider a bonus. I would stay here again if I am passing through Burns.

Perfect abode!

My sister and I were in burns for our great nephew’s wedding. This cozy little bear was perfect to come “home” to! It was a great location and we walked to Starbuck’s in the Safeway store each morning. It is just across the street from Safeway.

This was a great place for my friend and I to stay for the (unfortunately cancelled) Migratory Bird Festival. Nice little kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Even with the main road a block away and Safeway across the street it never seemed noisy and it is a short walk to the main part of town. My wife was going to come with the dogs but we had to change that plan and that was no a problem. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm back this way.

Overnight stay

We were passing through and stayed one night. Location is great. House provided everything we needed. We did not use the firepit or grill but liked the setup. We played some of the games provided and had a good time.

Simple and easy

I came out to the area to chukar hunt with my brother for a couple days. This place was just what we were looking for: simple, had all the basics, and a good price. We had a hunting dog with us, so the pet accommodations were nice. It was easy to find, and everything worked like like it should.

Rockhounding 'round Burns

Convenient to restaurants and groceries. Rustic, charming, funky, clean. Was great to come home to after a day in the heat and dust collecting rocks.

Cozy, convenient, clean! Great stay and easy to find. Only issue was that keypad was not wanting to unlock, it was late, and we could not reach host. Fortunately just when we were starting to get desperate, it worked. Whew.

Overnight at Moma Bear's Den

We were driving from Northern Utah to Eugene Oregon with two pet dogs. Moma Bear's Den provided a convenient stopping point along the way. Across the road is a Safeway, which we took advantage of. The photos online suggested that three is an enclosed yard at the property but that was not the case. Our only issue. The unit is well-appointed, spacious and comfortable.

Cute and comfy!

We were welcomed to this cute 2 bed 1 bath home with a wonderfyl scent that when you walked through the door. The house was spotless and you could tell Ashley put a lit of thought and work into her Mama Bear home. Everything was just like she described, it wasnt like any other rentals we have stayed at. We even looked to see if we could stay longer, but it was booked for another lucky guest. The bbq area is so awesome! You have privacy and plenty of room to kick back and we loved our stay and recommend you go stay there as well. You wont be disappointed.

Comfy bed, adequate kitchen and bath, easy location, right across street from Safeway. check-in should have been easy, but combo lock jammed and had to contact VRBO ( didn’t have host’s number). Took about a half hour with VRBO, but once they contacted host, response was very quick (about 5-10 min after contact with host for person to arrive to unlock door). Wish they had broadcast tv channels with Olympics on, but for the price, I really can’t complain.
