The stay was very private, and cozy. The nights were so quiet and relaxing. Sunsets to die for. I would absolutely recommend this stay for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our stay was very good. Everything was clean, well stocked with everything you could need. Only downfall...it was hard to find the driveway...we passed it three times. The faucet in the shower was extremely hard to turn.

This remote cabin is so refreshing! Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Ann is a fabulous hostess, and everything was perfect. When driving up to the home, one needs to remember that it is out in the country. A spectacular setting! The home was well stocked, cozy, and comfortable! Will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful for stargazing- still dealing with the headlights of cars on the nearby highway, and guide lights of the municipal airport to the south, but you’ll have no difficulty seeing the milky way from the front porch. Was a bit spooked by the farmers who used the driveway and nearby gravel path, but figured it out quick. Access to the town was easy, but check what’s open and when, small town hours apply.

Nothing bad to say about this place. It was amazing. Kind of strange going up to the door because of the where it’s at, but once we walked in, oh boy, we were blown away. Very nice place.

Beautiful location. Peaceful and plenty of stars. Not too far from Crane Hot Springs. Host is awesome and has this place pretty well stocked. Clean and comfortable. Will visit again

Enjoyed the cabin, watched an evening lightning/thunderstorm under a vast sky. Quiet, clean place which was stocked with essentials. Would stay here again! Our dog loved to roam. It suited a brief respite on our road trip.

After a long day of travel, this was a great stopping place. Pets are allowed without an additional charge. There was a dog park with an igloo for your pup if you wanted them to get a boit of safe air and a paddock for your horse. On the inside they had a washer, dryer, full kitchen, condiments, coffee, creamer and bathroom amenities. Couldn't ask for a better stopping point or a more responsive hostess.We would stay here a y time we were in the area!

Well equipped and comfortable

We stayed for two nights at Ann's High Desert Hideaway. We wanted to explore the surrounding area, as part of a road trip through Washington, Idaho and Eastern Oregon. It was so peaceful there. Waking up to listen to all the new birds (for me) and watch the cottontails hopping about. The cabin was clean and had thoughtful amenities for guests. The washer and dryer was much appreciated after 8 days on the road. And there was ice in the freezer!! Hard to believe that almost no vacation rentals furnish filled ice trays, which is one of our pet peeves. We hope to return in the future and explore the area further.

Utah trip

Excellent- peaceful-quiet

It’s what we expected. Burns is a quiet little town, and that means it’s wonderfully quiet, and there’s very very little light pollution, so make sure to look up at night. We’ll book again soon.

A wonderful little sanctuary

We stayed going to see grandkids and stayed coming home. We loved it and would recommend it to people who don't want noise or elevators but do want quiet and a wonderful dark sky. It is close to the Crane Hot Springs. Ann is wonderful and helpful. The only issue we had was the mattress, and for my husband and me, that was an issue, but everything else was absolutely wonderful.

Everything was thought of for our stay

Incredible! Ann thought of everything a guest may need and more. Cozy, clean, pet friendly, fresh smelling towels, coffee was there for the morning and well stocked cabinets and drawers, even a washer and dryer too. We sleep so soundly, and the stars are amazing to view in Eastern Oregon.
