"We stayed in the exact same room as our visit four months ago. The room was great, however, the included continental breakfast was not so great. The oatmeal bar add-ins, (raisins, brown sugar, variety of nuts etc.) along with the bagel variety and cream cheese pods did not taste fresh. The Belgium waffle batter was took thick to allow it to expand in the waffle iron, and the trash cans were already overflowing on Sunday morning at 7:20am. (Only 20 minutes after the breakfast buffet opened) We brought our concerns about the freshness of the food to the male employee that seemed to be restocking the food products on Saturday morning, but the same food, along with the poor taste and even worse waffle batter were present for Sunday morning's buffet. My family and I also noticed that none of the staff we encountered during this stay were the same as the staff we met in March. Is this possibly the reason for the less than stellar experience we had during our stay this week?"

"I honestly booked here with trepidation. The reviews were fantastic, but the price is was low that I was thinking, it was too good to be true. There isn't breakfast, but I didn't care about that. I always tend to over eat when breakfast is included. No gym or fancy meeting rooms. Not that I ever use them when I stay somewhere anyways. Surely these few things couldn't account for the rooms affordability? There is a swimming pool, perhaps it's out of order? Broken furniture? Bugs? Bad smells? Anything to explain why the lodge is so affordable? I purchased the insurance, which covered all the possibilities and made sure to arrive right at check in. Just in case. The employee who checked us in was polite and helpful. Our room was clean. The smell upon entering the room wasn't perfumey, but was fresh and inviting. Something like fresh laundry and clean linen. The furniture was in good condition. There were no bugs. I checked multiple times before taking my luggage in. The pool wasn't just nice, they had floats available for use. I didn't have any children with me, but if I had they would have loved it! Over all, our stay was peaceful and was exactly what was needed. I saved the location on my Google map as a personal favorite and plan to stay there again soon."
