Stay in a one-of-a-kind, architect-designed loft in a historic 1935 bank — reimagined as a modern, airy escape with soaring 17’ ceilings, designer finishes, and a location in the heart of Buffalo’s vibrant Hertel Avenue.

This light-filled loft features a stunning vaulted ceiling and a massive picture window overlooking the avenue. The king-size bed is so comfortable, guests often ask what brand it is. Below the sleeping loft is a dreamy walk-in closet with a single bed, and above it, a cozy futon accessible by ship deck stairs — ideal for couples but can comfortably host up to four guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need: stove, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, Keurig (with pods), tea kettle, toaster, pots, pans, knives, and a butcher block prep station for meals in. There’s also a charming little bar and a dining table with two chairs — perfect for morning coffee or a relaxed dinner in.

The spa-style bathroom features a double shower with two separate shower heads — including a rainfall — because not everyone showers the same way.

This space is best for guests who appreciate thoughtful design, calm energy, and unique architecture. It’s a curated, peaceful retreat just steps from Buffalo’s best cafés, restaurants, wine bars, vintage shops, and nightlife.

The garbage cans are on the side of the building, ours are the large cans. When you walk out they are to the right (on the side with the neighbors driveway)

Please turn off all lights, A/C units etc. Remove all trash, food, personal items!

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Access to the salon on the first floor is strictly prohibited when it is closed. The motion detectors are sensitive, will sound and alert me.

Access is NOT granted into the attic space above the loft.

THE LOFT HAS AN A/C UNIT RIGHT BEHIND THE KING SIZE BED and in first floor. Please turn the units off when you leave or check out.
