Perfect location for being in the center of the city. The restaurant that is below was delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved the historical vibe of the building. The room itself had a more modern look and our room looked right out into the plaza center. Unique entrance right through the restaurant. Memorable experience.

The hotel is a gentle 20 minute walk from the railway station and very easy to find. I was a woman travelling alone and a bit nervous but everyone at Hotel Central was warm and welcoming and I always felt safe. The room was simple, spotless and had that wonderful view! Food was generous and tasty. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

Fantastic location, literally central so great for exploring the heart of Bruges, with a great view of Belfort. Rooms are comfortable, a good size with a nice big bathroom. No lifts so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Positives were a big room and great location. However the only window in my room was in the bathroom. Check in is at the restaurant downstairs and as it was busy when I arrived I was clearly a bit of a nuisance for the staff. This was the only place I stayed on my trip that didn't have tea/coffee facilities in my room.

Centrally located on the Markt with easy access to all the major tourist attractions of the city. Clean room with spacious en-suite and comfortable bed (good mattress). Its Cafe and those of neighbouring establishments on the Markt offered a choice of meals. Staff friendly and helpful.

I was completely surprised by our view in Room # 12!!! Spectacular!!! Nice to hear the sounds of the plaza and see the view at night with the windows wide open. Great place for the price. I highly recommended Hotel Central. It has a restaurant entry and no lift to the 2nd floor, but the view from the room made it quite a magnificent stay!!!

Loved the location and that it was part of the old market square traditional buildings. Unusual that it was attached to the brasserie on ground floor and staff from there were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room with good bathroom with excellent shower. No lift so be prepared. Hotel breakfast was good too.

Great hotel for location and food

Perfectly placed on the Market Square. Room was probably the best in the hotel with views of the square below. Food was outstanding, both our evening meal and breakfast. All the staff spoke good English (one spoke 6 languages) and were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Awesome place to stay in middle of Markt. Please note it is above a restaurant so found a little hard to find initially. Staff great. Breakfast was lovely and good choice. Restaurant downstairs very nice for drink and we had a pizza. Highly recommend.

Right in the middle of things..

Lovely, clean, spacious, top floor room overlooking the square. Fab views. Lovely staff who were very welcoming. Right in the centre of things, so very easy to get around. (Light sleepers beware- noisy at night until early hours, presumable rooms at back of hotel didn't have this problem). Unable to open window and no fan in bathroom, so could possibly be stifling after a week and awful in summer- unless we just couldn't open window ourselves. Definitely recommend Hotel Central.

The view was spectacular from my Room which I had room 11 , the guy that checked us in, was very very friendly and a pleasure to deal with it. I didn’t get his name, but I can describe him,He was tall blue eyes and Bald head. I had a request . I wanted an iron, and it was sent up in my room in one minute very impressed and everything was just excellent. If i can rate 10 stars I would !!!!

We spent two nights at the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. Brugge is such a beautiful city! The hotel is in the middle of Grote Markt but the room we got was facing the back so it was nice and quiet, even with the windows open all the time. They didn’t have AC so I can imagine it can get pretty warm in the summer but because it was raining/cloudy when we were there, leaving the windows worked. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was nice and big. There are no elevators so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, but if you’re fine with that, I would highly recommend this place for basic, shorter stays. Apparently, breakfast was included in the price we paid and I wish Expedia told us that. We thought we had to pay extra so we didn’t avail of it. The breakfast spread looked really yummy and smelled really good.
