The town lies between the Bodden waters and the Baltic Sea, right next to one of the island’s longest beaches. In just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the harbor of the idyllic, former fishing village of Breege, with its many yachts, seafood stands, restaurants, and shopping options. A few minutes’ walk in the other direction takes you to the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach at Juliusruh.
