There were two buildings. The red bldg. was very clean and updated. The green bldg.needed a bit TLC and upgrades.
Very peaceful on the water and in the evening. Daytime traffic was a bit noisy. with many heavy trucks transporting logs, alfalfa, etc. I wouldn't recommend this property for young children because it is very close to road and fast traffic. If you are adults the pond was very nice for fishing, boating and kayaking. The evenings were quiet and enjoyable around the fire pit.
We were pleased with this property for what we wanted to do there. We didn't go swimming because the shoreline is not very shallow for wading in even though water appeared clean. Loved the idea there were no motorized crafts of any kind on the water which cut down on noise level.
Some areas to address : Kitchen needed some items like tongs to turn meat on grill, a working can opener, a larger grill when feeding 5 or more people, some medium sized bowls or rubbermaid containers for leftovers or mixing salads, pancakes etc. Plus dish rags and cloths were not in sight and it took me two days to find them(stashed away in a large bowl above stove, not where I woh9 quite aways from sink
The remote control needed batteries and t.v. needed to be hooked up to use DVD player. And lastly, the paddleboat only worked on one side and there were no directions as to how to regulate and use spa only the safety measures to follow.
I don't mean to sound negative because we really enjoyed our stay, these are just a few helping suggestions to improve ease of use. On our last night there we ventured to the local park for "pie in the park",some kind of fund raising event.
Aron, the owner was very helpful in sorting out and explaining things we weren't familiar with.
