No bar. No shops nearby. Bathroom very shabby. No soap holder, tile on shower and bathroom floor rusted and cracked, carpet in room stained and looked dirty. Don't care about nearby shops--room was very shabby and dingy.

This was the worst hotel I ever went to from the beginning. It was bad first of all. I went into the room. It smelled musty I had to leave the door open as I'm walking around spraying. Lysol, I noticed how dirty the rug was and stained the rug was. I noticed the only chair in the room was dirty and stained. I made my way to the beds to spray them and the sheets on one of the beds at the head was stained. Then, I went into the bathroom to spray, and the toilet seat had urine on it. When I went back Back to the front desk, the lady would not give me back a refund, said I had to reach out to expedia. Expedia should be embarrassed to even have this place as some place that they represent on their website.When I reached out to expedia, they said they cannot give me a refund.Needless to say I did not stay at that hotel for more than five minutes.I booked at another hotel through another app, and it was a hundred percent better.It sucks that a big company like expedia.Wouldn't refund me my money for a place that they recommended?That was so disgusting

As always, Rip's is an excellent place to stay. I would ask for cups in the bathroom for water, etc.

The staff was helpful, despite having to ring a bell and speak through a window. I was pleased to have a microwave and refrigerator. The bed comfortable enough. The carpet was disgusting as well as the vinyl flooring by the sink. I have stayed at less expensive properties that were in better condition.

Room rate kinda high considering this is a no frills property. Room was clean but no place to hang my clothes. The closet clothes hanger bar was broken and missing. Guests next door were loud and paper thin walls. The location for what I was doing and who I was visiting was good. Easy access to DC, Baltimore and Annapolis.

Nice place…

Had to find an inexpensive room for me and three other men and Rips was it. Bed was comfortable and the night manager/owner was very accommodating. If I’m in the area again I will stay there again.

The room was full of stink bugs. I spent a majority of my night trying to get rid of them. I could hear them flying around me while I tried to sleep. I saw several of them crawling all over the walls and ceilings. It was disturbing and made it hard to sleep.

The room size was fine. There was a stain on one of the chairs and we were only given two towels. Also, the night lights on of the beds didn't work. The restaurant was nice for lunch but part of the reason that I got the room was bc they offered a bar, restaurant and package good store on the premises. Despite the fact that we stayed on a Saturday night, we were disappointed to find that everything was closed by 9 p.m. This was especially surprising and disappointing since they were near a professional baseball stadium, another reason why we selected this room. The desk service was nice enough. I would recommend the restaurant before a baseball game but I would probably stay at another nearby hotel with similar facilities, especially if you like to contribute the fun at a bar or restaurant after the game.

Simply: You get what you pay for! You can see through the rottig holes in the entry door. Bathroom window repaired with tape and doesn’t lock. Heating/air conditioning unit so loud, there was no real sleep to be had. Pay the money and go somewhere else!

Dont stay at Rips Country Inn

Our room was clean but very old and rundown. No coffee, no hairdryer. Staff indifferent and difficult to reach. Poison ivy growing through the wooden sidewalk. 1 towel and 1 washcloth per room. No ice bucket then you have to ask for ice. Staff acts suspicious of you. We will absolutely not stay there again. This is their cash cow but they dont invest or upkeep.
