Weekend Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at your cozy and lovely home. It offered privacy and ambience for the perfect weekend getaway. The updated kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and the outdoor area with fire pit and covered porches oozed rustic coziness. We definitely would stay here again when available.

We absolutely loved the cabin. It was so serene and clean. The updates that were done blended old and new really well. Felt like home away from home. Cannot wait to stay again.

The Old Homestead
The cabin reminded us of a former homestead we used to live in by the seashore. Overall, everything was great, and we had an excellent experience! A few basic "tweaks" would have made perfection. A broom and dustpan are a necessity, (the floors get gritty after a few days), access to the laundry room would have been nice (there was not enough bath towels for three people for a week-long visit), and some battery-powered candles or a flashlight for when the electricity goes down (it went down twice briefly during our stay leaving us in total darkness). We are looking forward to another stay next year!!!

Peaceful and Awesome
I had a girls weekend with my 2 sister-in-laws and it was wonderful. We all loved the cabin. It was so clean and absolutely took my breath away. I could see the love put in to that cabin for people to enjoy. Sitting on the front porch was so relaxing and peaceful. We will be coming back to stay again. Thank you for sharing your cabin for others to enjoy its beauty and peacefulness.

Quiet magic
I will join the chorus of folks naming this cabin their favorite Vrbo ever. There is something about this space that instantly lifts your spirits; it feels just like home as soon as you walk in the door. The cabin has incredible bones and is so beautifully maintained, but the furnishings and details lift it to another level. So much consideration and care was clearly put into making the space comfortable, cozy, and—above all—welcoming. After four nights I was genuinely sad to leave! The location is convenient to so many beautiful trails as well as Ligonier, several Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and all the things that make central PA fun to explore, but you could honestly make a whole trip out of enjoying this home. We’re already looking at dates for another visit so we can take full advantage of the beautiful porches and see some of the trails in full leaf.

Perfect Ski Getaway Location
We chose this property due to its proximity to Laurel Mountain and Hidden Valley. It did not disappoint!!! First, the location was perfect. Second, upon entering the cabin what a lovely surprise! The online photos do not due this property justice. It is absolutely lovely, charming and so tastefully decorated. We loved being able to gather in front of the fireplace and share our ski stories from the day. While perfect for the winter we can’t wait to come back in the warm weather and enjoy the porches. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property!!!

Beautiful setting.
Our goal was snowshoeing and snow hiking. The location offered us access to many different options. After a full day of exercise, the cabin was a perfect place to relax. The outdoor porches were great spots to sit and reflect on the day. The decor was interesting and beautiful. Cleanliness was top notch. Beds were super comfortable. Host was very responsive.

Thanksgiving getaway
This was a perfect place to celebrate Thanksgiving with my young adult children. We had all the pots and pans needed to prepare our own favorite meals. I made reservations at Fallingwater back in July so we could enjoy a lovely drive over there this weekend as well.

Best VRBO for relaxing
Exceptionally clean, very, very comfortable, many amenities/games/books/outdoor activities and firewood provided, gorgeous kitchen (I want to do my Christmas baking here) and bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows, relaxing front and back porch with babbling brook, walking trails and outdoor firepit. Secluded and private, but not isolated. 10 minutes from Rt 30, 20 minutes from Walmart. Activities and restaurants nearby, but our only reason for booking this cabin for the weekend was to rest and relax so we didn't go anywhere and loved every minute of it. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful. I would love to return and cannot recommend highly enough.

Everything about this log cabin was wonderful
Me and two friends set out for a whirlwind tour of Rachel Sager's Ruins Project, an outdoor museum and Falling Water. One travel day and one day to tour and drive back 5+hours. We wish we had more time to stay at the log cabin. We did manage to arrive little early, go to town for a wonderful dinner and come back to enjoy a fire outside into the evening. We wished we had more time to hike the trails. I had issues with getting into Vbro to contact the owner. Not sure it was Vbro or me. Vbro sent a six digit access code. With persistence I got through and the owner was very responsive. The owner then sent me a 4 digit code which worked. The log cabin was peaceful, clean and comfortable with a lot of updated charm. We would all love to return!

Beautiful Cabin
This beautiful cabin was exactly what we needed even if it was only for one night. Everything was perfect despite the rain. The attention to detail was amazing. Very peaceful! We enjoyed our anniversary trip tremendously and we’re very impressed that we didn’t need a lot of what we anticipated to make our meals. Had a blast playing games and getting off our screens for a few days!
