Exceptional service and an incredibly unique experience staying in a chateau full of historical artifacts and artwork. The staff are obviously passionate about what they do, and go to great lengths to he welcoming and accommodating.The wine tour and tasting was very thorough and equally delicious!

Felt like a “king and queen” staying in the gorgeous chateau! And we’re treated as such by the amazing and attentive staff! The wines produced here are simply delicious! Lovely terraces in which to enjoy them and the beautiful gardens surrounding the chateau. We highly recommend this special place and look forward to when we can return.

Amazing, unforgettable experience
Attentive and knowledgeable staff. A very special stay in one of only 5 rooms, incredible art work, wine and setting. The restaurant served the vegetables fresh from the gardens and they surpassed the meat and fish served as the depth of flavour was incredible . We will never forget our stay at Chateau Pape Clement, truly an amazing experIence which we would recommend.

Staying at Chateau Pape Clement was amazing. The gardens are stunning and the property itself is beautiful. It is absolutely an old chateau and we heard that at some point it belonged to Pope Clement. Regardless, it was a real treat to stay at such a historic beautiful place. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was scrumptious served inside a dinning room overlooking the gardens. We did a wine tour of the winery and vineyards, and were very impressed by the wines. I would definitely stay here again.

Truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The hotel is pure class and luxury at every turn. The rooms are huge and stunning with world class art and decor. The breakfast is delicious. Comes with a wonderful tour and tasting of the winery.

Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back!
We loved our stay at the Chateau. Helpful, lovely and accommodating staff, particularly David. Clean, unique space. Really special. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. It’s a bit hard to find with the address as a taxi or uber will drop you off at the boutique. Its difficult to get to the Chateau with luggage from there, but we were lucky that both our taxi driver and David were helpful and made sure we got their safely and comfortably.

The Chateau is lovely; the grounds are beautiful; the breakfasts were delicious; the staff was superb. Our room was smaller than we expected, but we quickly got over it because everything else was at such a high level. We also like the fact that Pape Clement is about 20 minutes outside Bordeaux, though access to the city was not much of an effort (sometimes expensive if you don't take the tram to Pessac Centre). The hour-long wine tour was among the best we've every experienced. Highly recommended.

Special experience
Chateau Pape Clement is an amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful and you are basically staying in a small castle. The service exceeded all expectations. David, our host, went above and beyond with a tour of the Chateau and helped us arrange dinner at an excellent local restaurant. Breakfast was delicious, and the tour of the winery with John was fantastic. The Chateau is about 20 min outside of the city center and easy to get around. Highly recommend and want to come back soon!

Luxury Cheteau in not so nice area
Beautiful chateau and large room in the middle of a city area. They don’t serve dinner but they offer in room service which only offers little options of which the main courses come in containers which was heated in a microwave and this didn’t fit the classiness of the hotel! On arrival David however were very friendly and professional and we got to taste Pape de Clement wine so we cannot complain! Bordeaux town is a must see!

Hospedagem decepcionante
Não se trata de um hotel e sim de um velho chateau adaptado para hospedagem. A mobilia é velha dando a impressão que móveis que não eram mais usados em outro local foram deslocados para este Chateau. O staff é mau preparado. O café da manhã não justifica o valor cobrado. O banheiro da maioria dos aposentos tem banheira, sem chuveiro. A ducha acoplada a banheira, quando usada, causa alagamento do banheiro. Apesar de ter realizado pagamento da hospedagem 7 meses antes, quando do check out o staff não tinha registro deste pagamento e pretendia fazer nova cobrança das diárias já pagas, apesar da entrega de documentode reserva (voucher) emitida por Hoteis.com. Foi necessário telefonema de pessoal da Hoteis.com para esclarecer e convencer a recepção do Chateau de que as diarias haviam já sido pagas.

Chateau lindo, quartos e organização insatisfatóri
Hotel charmoso e antigo, com poucos quartos. Estávamos em grupo e fomos muito bem recebidos no dia da chegada. As surpresas começaram depois: nosso banheiro não tinha chuveiro, apenas ducha na banheira e os quartos tinham isolamento acústico precário. Quarto era arrumado diariamente mas com limpeza dos banheiros era insatisfatória. Café da manhã bom, mas os pedidos feitos fora do buffet demoraram a chegar. Na noite anterior à nossa saída, não achavam os pagamentos já efetuados e queriam cobrar por dias que não tomamos p café da manhã. A impressão que apesar do lugar maravilhoso, a administração e organização deixam a desejar.

As we strive to provide the best service to our clients, your comments and impressions about our property are very important to us. We are more than sorry for the issues you mentioned and really do apologize for the inconveniences. We have had a major collapse in our reservation and payment system that caused all the trouble upon your departure. The problem has been solved in the meantime. What a great place! Loved it. Our first night we had dimmer in the dinning roI’m- very cool! Very special night. Our room has an original Picasso - just really special place. We did the wine making /blending and tour- definitely do that! We will be back with friends and take over the entire place— great place,super people and perfect location. Also downtown Pessac is very cute town and some good restaurants.

Palacious
It is a beautiful modernized castle in a vineyard. They offered me a fine glass of wine at check-in and valet parked my car for free. Service was very attentive.

Preço muito alto para o q o hotel ofereçe.
Construção muito bonita, prédio muito bem decorado, mas como hotel deixa muito a desejar. O apartamento é desconfortável, o pé direito muito alto para acessar ao segundo piso através de escada já que não tem elevador. Muito distante da cidade.

Beautiful chateaux. Loved, loved our bathroom and its facilities. All the staff members were exemplary. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Fabulous Hotel close to the City Center
Absolutely Fabulous Chateau! From the moment we arrived we were in awe. Upon entering the magnificent grounds to the warm and inviting staff at the front desk we were made to feel as if we were at home. The next morning having an absolutely fabulous breakfast followed by a wonderful tour of the vineyard culminating with a wine introduction. I can not rave enough about this place and look forward to my return Thank Bernard!
