We stayed at the Compass Cove Cottage from September 15-21.The cottage is charming and cozy with a rustic coastal vibe. There is a large deck off the large living room overlooking a quiet and private cove where we enjoyed the sunshine in the mornings while working remotely, then once again for cocktails in the evenings. There is a dock to access the water by the provided canoe or kayaks with paddles and PFDs included. There's a fire pit to gather around in the evening. The hot water for showers and dishes was plentiful. Martin is a wonderful, kind and considerate host. He was extremely welcoming. His wife Becky, who unfortunately we didn't get to meet, made us the most scrumptious and gigantic blueberry muffins from iconic wild Maine blueberries. They are genuine and lovely hosts. The cottage is nearby everything one might want to do and explore in the Boothbay Region. The area is so rich with history and fun things to do and see. Staying at Martin and Becky's Compass Cove Cottage was the icing on the entire week. Lisa and Ray
