"Very quiet area and certainly good for unwinding. The walk from the parking area to the house was a challenge for an older person with no pathway, and clumpy grass patches on heavily pitted soil were difficult to negotiate in the dark. The kitchen was well equipped and the host kindly provided breakfast supplies. It was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for a long time and a large king size. The bathroom is tiny and lacks enough vanity space to hold toilet bag and clean clothes, or hooks...

"It was a pleasant place to stay and well located. Pity though about the honesty about the parking situation. The advertisment says that parking is available. What it doesn't say is it's either meter parking out front or free two streets away. When I enquired about the parking situation before booking nobody bothered to respond. It spoilt an otherwise good experience."

"Our room was spacious, and generally quite clean. Nice to have a fan available for the bedroom as there wasn’t an air conditioner (or tv) in there. Bathroom/shower recess was a little moldy/dirty. Fridge frosted up and not closing properly. Staff were very helpful. Great location, some of the surrounds lacking maintenance/cleaning. Gardens old and unkept. Stairwells/passageways needing cleaning/maintenance. Gave off a tired feel. "
