"This was our second visit and we had an equally wonderful time as we had last year. We use and enjoy all of the spaces from the bunk houses to the deck to the two docks and beyond. The property is terrific. Like last year, we cooked all of our meals in the fabulous kitchen and we were very grateful for the lovely hospitality gifts. It was rainy and cool a couple of days during our weeklong stay, but the vibe was still great because there is so much indoor space to relax and the large dining room table was the site of many games. Thanks for another happy vacation in a spectacular location."
"A great off grid getaway.Very secluded private setting in nature. Beautiful setup. Outdoor shower was a highlight with the view of the trees and the sky. BBQ worked great. Host was very attentive to ensure battery remained charged and there was enough water for the stay.Eggs delivered by the host ALL had the most brightest orange yolks. A nice contrast from store bought.Located within short drive to explore the area's natural beauty and local amenities."

"The cottage was spacious, peaceful and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Paugh Lake after 20 years; lovely to find it still clean, calm and relaxing. Sorry that we missed the opportunity for a sunset cruise offered by our hosts. Randy and Christine were also very responsive to our requests. We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. My 7 year-old grandson kayaked for the first time and was a real natural. We are hoping to re-visit "Gramma's on the Lake" in the future."

Loon Lodge - Golden Lake (Cottage & Bunkie -Sleeps 8 )
10/10 Excellent
"A hidden gem of a Cottage and Lake with a host to match. The Cottage was fully stocked to ensure you can relax and really rest. The lake is crystal, clear and shallow; perfect for swimming and kayaking. The loons, ducks, Great Heron, and even an otter provided a beachfront view of the best of nature surrounded by Forest and rocks. We even visited Killaloe, ON, home of the Beavertail pastry, which was delicious and visited the Bonnechere Caves which was a which was an interesting exploration tour.. The host promptly responded to text and was quick to remedy any needs. This truly was a relaxing week and we are grateful to have found this gem. Thank you, Karen and family."
