"When we arrived it took the host some time to open the gate. We took a taxi as this place is quite far out from modena. When he opened the gate he did not help unload or ask how the journey was etc but was chatting with our taxi driver as we stood obviously waiting to get to our rooms. "Clean, modern & quiet apartment & rooms. Right next to Enzo Ferrari’s museum . Check in was a bit badly coordinated and we had just 1 key but once we had contact all went well. The parking says we can stay only 2 hours so we moved the car around during the day but had no trouble during the night. But in all great apartment!! 17 minute walk to cathedral and restaurants and shopping. A great place to stay at a reasonable rate."

"Amazing stay. Our favorite stay of our Italy trip. Apartment is so large and comfortable and in a very nice area of town. 20 min walk to the historic center. Amazing gelateria across the street and the garage parking spot (though only for small cars) makes it very convenient. Easy street parking too. Very sparkling clean, bed comfortable. AC welcome in 100 degree heat wave. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return if we are back in Modena."

"Our stay was overall really great. The pool was lovely, there is a sauna but I didn’t get to use it. The breakfast had a nice selection and almost all of the staff were amazing and helpful. A special shout out to the lady that manages breakfast as she seems to remember everyone and makes an extra effort with all guests! The biggest detriment was the night manager on Sunday the 19th. I came downstairs and there was no one at reception so I wandered over to the restaurant to borrow a fork. I didn’t take it off any table that was already prepared but went to the cutlery pile. On the way back I saw the manager at reception and asked if it was ok that I borrowed the fork to show I wasn’t hiding anything or stealing anything and he was patronising and rude over a fork. Other staff members witnessed his attitude and apologised to me after but there no wonder he is a night manager. It might be better if he wasn’t affiliated with the hotel at all as it left a bitter taste in my mouth."

"This hotel is spotless, looks a little dated from the outside but really modern inside. The front desk staff were really nice. Gym is spot on, little table football downstairs for the kids, and a pool table upstairs, all free too. The restraunt is clean, although I didn't have di ner there. Breakfast was just what you expect, no complaints there. I do feel one of the staff members could come across more friendly, also heard another grouo say the same thing. You do feel a wee bit isolated where it's situated but if you look into it there's a small town on the way to bologna that we popped into on the Sunday as nowhere near by was open, we found an amaizing little pizza shop, doesn't look impressive from the outside but woowsers the pizza was banging you cam get the bus to bologna, very regular service and the bus always appears on time. Beware though o. Hiw to purchase tickets, we asked someone on the bus and tapped my card for a family of four, this isn't how it works. Ended up getting a 117 euro fine, extremely unlucky as the people who check your tickets aren't always on the bus. So make sure you use a different card for every traveler. We tried to explain it was an honest mistake. Any hoo hotel was great and would def stay again."
