The house is beautiful and well appointed. It has plenty of space and is in a great location. We couldn't find more clean bath towels though.

House was very comfortable. Nice furniture, sofa in living room. Great views through the large windows. Kitchen and pantry well appointed - everything we needed was there and in working order. Loved the 3 suites - perfect privacy for everyone in our group. Appreciated use of garage to park vehicle. Communication from management was great. Hope to stay there again!

Amazing views, From almost every window. Stayed the weekend with girlfriends and cooked in, walked to the beach, enjoyed the hot tub, and slept in cozy rooms. Will book again with my family.

Great view in a nice golf course location but home was in need of care/interior refresh.

We enjoyed our stay but the home doesn’t appear as nice as the photos. Namely, the kitchen is older with butcher block island, older appliances and sink. But the wood floors are the real negative. The wood floors are very scratched and just aren’t up to a current standard. With the scratches it gives the appearance that the surface isn’t clean. The gas fireplace had a note next to it that indicated it was not working and was reported about three weeks prior to our visit. The home was otherwise well maintained.

beautiful views

Our family (parents, adult kids and spouses) had a lovely stay. The kitchen is great, the living room is very nice, the bedrooms are good, the hot tub is good, and the location near beach access at the clubhouse is great. A few small problems with the thermostat setting (we almost froze the first night) and the fireplace not lighting were not answered unfortunately. Overall I recommend this house.

Lovely home in a nice location.

We rented this home for two weeks and the house was quite adequate for our needs of family coming and going to be with us. The beach toys, books, and indoor toys were great for the little ones, the kitchen was well stocked with equipment, the beds were very comfortable. The location of the house was great. The view beautiful. We thought we’d be able to use the tennis courts but learned that we could not. That was a disappointment as we are tennis players and had hoped to be able to play. The only downside of the house was that the carpets were quite dirty and the doors and railings were very grimy.

Vacation with Friends

Kitchen cabinets, countertop, bathroom storage and flooring were more run down than pictures indicated. Hot tub was not working. Cleaner was smoking in/near the house when we arrived. I’m still waiting for full refund of $140/day that was promised to me via the Vicasa app.

Spacious and great views

Bodega Bay winter get away

Beautiful location

This place was absolutely gorgeous. We had an amazing time. We needed a location relatively close to Redwoods, Napa Valley, and San Francisco because we had to get all that in within three days. We enjoyed Bodega Head better than any of the sights we saw all weekend. I highly recommend this home for your stay.

Harbor House

We enjoyed our stay. The house has amazing views! Kitchen was well equipped! Beds were very comfortable! We will book this home again !! Only issue we had was the fireplace, we had to have maintenance guy come fix it. And the Bbq grates need to be replaced.

Poor communication

The house was great. Beautiful views and nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. We received very poor customer service from Vacasa. We received a call at 3:57 saying that our check in time will be delayed one hour. We were just arriving for our 4 PM check in time. More notice would have been appreciated. We had a car full of items that need to be refrigerated after the long trip. Additionally, the oven was out of service and we did not find out until we arrived at the house. We would have appreciated advanced notice so we could plan our meals accordingly as we had young kids and meals planned for oven use. They had enough time to create, laminate and post an out of order sign so they could have provided advanced notice. This was a major disappointment from Vacasa. Lastly, the hot tub did not work as it would not go above 85 and it was very visibly dirty. We notified Vacasa of these issues right away and it took them over 2 weeks to provide any appropriate solution or response. Everything was very automated and impersonal. Once we finally received an appropriate response they only gave us a $300 refund. The hot tub cleaning fee was $100 alone. I expected more from such a large and established company. This was a very poor experience with Vacasa so much so that I will not be renting through them again.

Horrible Experience

This is the first time we have ever given a VRBO property a poor review. We were so excited to stay in this property. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the rental property we booked through Vacasa for our family vacation from July 5 to July 12, 2023. We had high hopes for a pleasant and enjoyable stay, but unfortunately, our experience has been far from satisfactory. Our check-in was scheduled for 4:00 pm on July 5, and upon our arrival at 7:30 pm, we were greeted by Karen, the housekeeper. To our surprise, she informed us that she needed an additional one and a half hours to clean the house. This delay was an inconvenience and put a damper on our excitement. Once we finally entered the property, it became evident that the condition of the house was far from acceptable. The wood floors appeared to be well beyond their expected useful life, displaying signs of extensive wear and tear. The carpets were severely stained and damaged, making it unappealing and unhygienic to walk barefoot on any of the floors. It is disheartening that such poor maintenance and cleanliness standards were overlooked. Furthermore, we discovered that there was garbage left out on the driveway.

Nice place but be prepared for surprises.

The house is nice with great views all around but there were some problems. The door to balcony and the master bedroom door to the patio required us to lift the door handle up all the way to allow the dead bolt to turn. The dishwasher lines have a heavy leak under the sink way up top where the aerator line and drain line meet. We still did many dishes by hand but with six people we needed the dishwasher. Someone has to be there to catch the water or else it fills up the cabinet under the sink then goes to the floor. The large pot we found there when we arrived doesn't work for that leak plus the real concern is the wiring for the garbage disposal lays in the water. The downstairs flooring is made of jute or some wicker material which is not comfortable. Also, one night when we returned the garage door was opened which was strange because we didn't have an opener for it. The floor plan is great. The hot tub was very clean and nice. If those four items listed were fixed we would stay here again.
