Overall though it was very expensive and the food at the Conrad itself was too expensive. The wider resort was more reasonable but not up to the its 4 star rating. "Do not stay at New Barcavela under any circumstance. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon, and it completely ruined our trip. The property is severely unhygienic and heavily infested with cockroaches; we found them crawling in the bathroom, making the space entirely unusable. Furthermore, the hotel is a consumer scam. They advertise a "private beach" on booking platforms but hide a mandatory €30/day fee per beach bed. The room itself was a disaster: tiny, filthy, lacking basic amenities like...

"Una casetta pulita e accogliente, cucina ben attrezzata e tutto il necessario per godersi la spiaggia ( ombrellone, teli e borsa termica compresa di piastre ghiaccio). Letti confortevoli.
