A pet-friendly condo nestled in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains is just a one-block walk from Main Street of idyllic, quaint downtown Blowing Rock. Near are boutiques, antiques, eateries, a garden park/public library, children’s play area, & Kilwin’s Ice Cream. Activities include movies in the park, art walks, Fri night music at The Inn, the farmer’s market, spa, walking trails, skiing, ziplining, canoeing, waterfalls, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain-the mi high bridge, the Linville Caves, Tanger Outlet. Pet friendly with limits: 2 dogs max, under 35 lbs. Community management is serious about the number & weight limit and will enforce this rule. Ample open spaces to walk and plenty of parking are available. 2 BD, 2BA, full kitchen, comfortably sleeps 4, washer-dryer, AC, gas-log fireplace, Internet, TV, outside balcony with seating area, grill on the premises. Please note this lovely retreat is on the 2nd floor, no elevator, must be able to walk 1 flight of stairs.

We had a wonderful stay over New Years. The space was perfect for our family of four. Walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock. Easy to use Roku, and many games and books.The kitchen was fully stocked, and we were able to have breakfast and coffee at the condo each morning; and made dinner there twice over our stay, and even baked some cookies together.Overall, it was wonderful and we very much enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay in Blowing Rock! The rental was very comfortable, well-equipped, and in a perfect location—close to town, restaurants, and all the local attractions. Great Location in Blowing Rock

We enjoyed our stay in Blowing Rock. The apartment is clean and cozy. The condominium community is quiet and well kept. A pleasant walk brings you to the downtown shops and restaurants in less than ten minutes, It is a great headquarters location for exploring the town, Cone and Price Parks, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other area attractions.

Was really happy with the location of the condo which was walkable to town and easily accessible to other attractions and trail heads. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated- we really appreciated the beautiful photographs hanging around the unit. The owner has made sure you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

Birthday in Blowing Rock

We were in Blowing Rock to celebrate the my husband’s birthday and knew it would be a beautiful time and place to celebrate. Our VRBO was easy to find and located about 2 blocks from down town. The accommodations were cozy and Christmas-y and we were even privy to a dusting of snow the last evening there. Everything at our place was ample and well stocked. We reccomend it heartily!

Respite in the mountains.

It was a lovely condo and I understand it has been completely refurbished in the last year. Everything was clean and comfortable, and my friend and I enjoyed our visit very much. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and would go there again.

Uncomfortable

I generally like staying at Royal Oaks condos, but I found the Q bed and living room furniture to be very uncomfortable. The 2nd bedroom was too bright to sleep due to a security light right outside the window. After barely sleeping 10 nights in a row, I went home almost a week early. Also renters should be aware that advertised air conditioning is NOT central air but a motel style unit that cools the living room but not the bedrooms.This was all unfortunate because the unit was clean and fine otherwise

Beautifully remodeled, Super Location

We have stayed here before. The condo has been beautifully remodeled and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was easy and very responsive. The condo is very conveniently located. We will be back!
