Queen Cozy Cabin on Main St

This intimate Queen Cozy Cabin on Main Street features an open floor plan with a single Queen size bed and separate bathroom. Amenities include a fireplace, wet bar with microwave and mini-fridge, private back porch, heating and AC, cable TV, DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi. Enjoy our outdoor living room and landscaped garden scattered with cozy seating and a fire pit. Mountainaire Inn and Log Cabins is located on Main Street in Downtown Blowing Rock. In addition to being walking distance from shops and restaurants, the property is a short drive from outdoor activities, hiking trails, attractions, ski slopes, Boone, and Appalachian State University.

PLEASE NOTE: Guest must check-in at Mountainaire Inn, 827 Main St in Blowing Rock. Office hours are 8:30-6:30 daily.

River Cabin reservations must be cancelled by 3pm, 7 days prior to arrival. For any cancellations within 7 days of arrival, guest credit card will be charged a cancellation fee totaling 100% of total room+tax for the reservation

Front aluminum screen door, upon opening, malfunctioned & deeply cut my right forearm. I caught the upper glass panel before it fell out of the opening & would have hit my wife.Entry wood stairs & railings are rotten.This will be a serious issue to a guest there in the near future. Back screen door needs a new closer with hold open device.

We loved the cabin, cozy, well equipped and perfectly located! Only negative was gas logs had strong odor. Great property and easy communication with management. We would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed

The first place we had booked was not to our liking AT ALL!! It felt old and run down...for $200 per night! We asked to be moved, which they did. The 2nd place had real thick OLD carpet. Felt like I was breathing dirt and dust mites the whole time. Bathtub didnt drain well, stood in 6 or 7 inches of water to shower. Sink didnt drain hardly at all! Took a good while for the dirty water to go out. TV didnt have cable. Overall it was horrible! We checked in on the 1st at around 4:15 took until about 5:30 to get switched. The bed was hard...had a terrible night's sleep. Got up the next morning and checked out...a day and half early. The receptionist was so nice...didnt want to hurt her feelings after she had worked to get us moved. I told her I wasnt feeling well so we were leaving early. We feel we need a refund! Wont be staying there ever again!

Overnight trip

We enjoyed our time in Blowing Rock. Cabin was as described, clean and no problems encountered. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the little deck off the back.
