This cosy holiday home is located on the grounds of a former forest farm belonging to the small village of Skoträsk. The almost 100-year-old log cabin was restored in 2016 with great attention to detail. The result is a comfortable cottage with a very special charm that offers a living space of 40m² and is equally suitable for single travellers, couples and families of up to 5 people. The open-plan living room has a very special flair thanks to its high ceilings and old beams and immediately creates a cosy atmosphere. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy seating area, the centrepiece of the room is the wood-burning stove. The romantic sleeping loft offers two beds with a view of the "Biberbach" stream that meanders along the property. There are three more beds in a separate room. The small but elegant bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and underfloor heating. The rental price includes bed linen, towels, firewood and final cleaning. The farm is surrounded by 12 hectares of forest and meadows, along which flows the "Biberbach", which opens up into a lake at the level of the house. several huskies live with us on our property in harmony with nature. You can spend your adventure and adventure holidays with us. The huskies are happy about every visit and like to announce their existence with a typical husky howl. Holidays for all husky fans and those who want to become one. The settlement "Skoträsk" consists of 3 old farms, there are no direct neighbours, the surroundings are characterised by endless forests and countless lakes. Nature lovers get their money's worth here, whether it's mushroom and berry picking in autumn, husky sledge rides, snowmobile safaris, snowshoeing with or without huskies and cross-country skiing in the winter months or husky hikes, husky rides, swimming and fishing in the summer months. In the winter months it is possible to book day trips by snowmobile directly on site. Sleigh rides with our huskies can also be booked. The region is one of the best fishing areas in Sweden. The "Vindelälven" is only a few kilometres away, where you can fish for trout, salmon, char and grayling. At the local waters, it is mainly pike and perch that you can hook.
